Hotel Rochester is in a fabulous location, within walking distance to many Paris landmarks including the Eiffel Tower. We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and found it the perfect place to stay. The rooms were clean and the hotel and spa were beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. We were lucky enough to get our room at a 60% discount, if we hadn't I would consider it overpriced but then again it's Paris and most things in the tourist areas are.

We travelled in May for a family reunion. Hotel is overpriced, rooms extremely small, our double room had one bedside table. Hotel does not have a restaurant, so impossible to go for dinner. Concierge service efficient, but too much overpriced. I would rate this hotel at 3* as service is non-existent. Location is central, but on the wrong side of a good street. Champes Elysee are 5 minutes away on foot, but street where hotel is situated looks dodgy and not very safe. if they were charing 50 Euro per night, it would have being a great value, at the rates hotel is charging - stay away from it. There are many branded hotels around at a fraction of a price. Breakfast was full, but very limited in quantities and space.

Bonjour Madame, Monsieur,

We are really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at the hotel Rochester Champs Elysées.

The hotel is situated near one of the most famous and safe avenues in Paris.
Please note that the hotel does not have a restaurant, however, the Buffet breakfast is opened from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM and offers a full American and Continental Breakfast, continuously refilled.
Please be aware that our concierges do not perceive any interest in customers’ bookings: the prices you pay for amenities are the rates applied by the companies.

Once again, we are sorry if you didn't enjoy your week in Paris.

Kind Regards,

Mr THOMAS

The hotel is at the perfect location, just 5 minutes walking distance from Champs-Elysees.... Very nicely maintained hotel with very nice interior decoration... Rooms are small but cozy.... small lists just 2 persons maximum....

Spa is nice... and they arrange for CDG airport travel at very genuine rates....

Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are on business trip and want to be close to the city's main attractions....

In general the hotel is very good, specially the location.

Most of the staff are kind and courteous (except the the mature gentleman in the front desk). Some of ther services require a bit of fine tuning:
at the reception, On Pre-auth auth, the receptionist accidentally charged the credit card, she genuine appoligised but uttered some foul words. There was no offer of wake-up call or newspaper, but help with luggage was offered which is good. Housekeeping was took awhile, I asked for for iron and ironing board, it was delivered but had to wait. Room service was also very efficient. Breakfast staff are good but the choices are bit less. On check out concierge was very helpful in storing our luggage and has good knowledge about Paris. I asked for early check in, which was given, very thankful for that!

If you decided to stay on this hotel, ensure that you don't get the street side as it is very noisy.

The bed that was given to us was broken so it made noise everytime we move. I hope housekeeping would check it before giving it to a guest.

We got a good deal for Hotel Rochester via Travelzoo- and when we booked my husband made a note that the trip was for our 1st anniversary. When we got othe hotel the guy at the front desk informed us that we got a free upgrade, consisting of a bigger room w/ a balcony, free breakfast, a bottle of wine, and free boat tour tickets. The room was marvelous! You hear about how hotel rooms in Paris are small and dinky- but not this one! Even the entry way and lobby are luxious and cozy- definately a 5 star feel.

The location was also marvelous. Just two blocks off Champ Elysees and close to many metro stops. You can also walk to various other attractions but we chose to take the metro often ( to Louvre, Notre Dame, and Eiffel Tower).

I have nothing negative to say about htis hotel as we had a very comfortable stay! I did notice that it's quite expensive if you don't strike a good deal- but it may be well worth it if you are willing to splurge!

i was in paris for spring break with my family. I was having a hard time finding a hotel which would accomdate 3 adults and 1 child and finnally found Hotel Rochester and what a great choice. It is in a great location. We were in paris for 4 days and the location of the hotel helped us to visit all the main attractions. It is 3 blocks away from the metro and champ elysees. The hotel was very clean and kept up. I stayed in a jr suite and it was perfect for my family. The hotel staff in very helpful. The only this is that i found on the down side is that the hotel breakfast is very expensive for what it is basically a continental breakfast. Other wise i highly recommended.
