“Surprisingly very good!”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

I stayed here on business for one night only. I had a newly refurbished room that was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was a traditionally continental affair and for 12 euros excellent value for money. There is no bar but is 25 meters from the Champs Elysees so who cares! The lift is the only poor part; it is very small, 2 people no luggage, and it will scare you!

Room 43 (I think) was my room ask for this and you will have an excellent city centre hotel close to all the sites for very little money. Spend what you save on enjoying a fantastic city.

Well, where to start? First I asked for non smoking room because I'm alergic, and at beginning they didn't have a non smoking room, so the room that they gave me were smelling very bad!
Let me list the problems:
The rooms are soooo small; The elevator fits 1 person + bags; The hall is too tight; The night receptionist doesn't speak english; The hotel floor is irregular; The bathroom is disgusting (mine bath drain were clogged and they did nothing for that, so I myself unclogged it).
Anyway, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Only good point: stays at the middle of Champs-Elysees, but that are other areas better than this one since you need the subway to go everywhere.

Even if they did the renovation last year, they just adjusted the reception.

Hotel Delarc is located very centrally for tourist destinations around Paris. This means most things to eat close to the hotel are a little pricey. Metro is very close so its easy to travel around the city.

The room we stayed in, a standard double was basic but functional, as you would expect for a two star hotel.

The lift and bathroom as small but worked fine and there are toiletries included in the room which is a nice bonus.

The receptionist Rachid tried very hard to help us with any request we had even with the language barrier he was very helpful.

Would stay again.

I would like to thank the wonderful staff in particular Hussan (sp!) for helping me get my lost luggage back! I stayed here during the last stage of the tour de france and got a really good price booking online (they were charging people double when walking off the street) the rooms are nice there is AC and wifi and the location is amazing. The walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours and the breakfast is average but I really enjoyed my stay here.

Room Tip: Ones on the 1st floor have a balcony

I've never paid so much for a room in Paris but never had such a small room! If you want to stay in a hotel in Les Champs Elysées then that's perfect for you but if not, look a bit further and you'll find much better for value. The hotel is a 2 star one, now called Hotel de l'Arc, rooms have been completely refurbished and they look clean. My room smelled of fresh paint and it gave me a headache, the smell was really too strong. There is no facility apart from a TV and a hair drier.
The room are noisy and I was awakened by the neighbour's alarm clock!
You will be on the Champs Elysées, which is an area of Paris I don't like because this avenue became a ghetto and is far from the most beautiful avenue in the world. I had to stay here for business but I have to say that I won't be back. For a 2 star hotel, it is good, but the price is a rip off.

This hotel is better than we thought from a 2 star. It's being done up as I write this, but our room on the 2nd floor was just like the picture, and clean and tidy. The Lido is a 3 minute walk, local bars and cafe's just off the Champs Ellysee are seconds away and the metro is right outside. The direct bus from the airport drops you off a 5 minute walk away by the Arc de triumph. There's no safe that's true, (take your cash etc with you!) or tea and coffee etc but if you plan to be out and about all day and just sleep at the hotel like us then you can't really fault it for the price.

Look, you would have three good things, which i think enough for any short stay travellers will look for:
Location: on the center of the Champs Elysee & exactly at one of the exits of Franklin Rosevelt Subway station.
Staff: are so kind, friendly & helpful
Value of Money: with a renovated rooms & free wireless access plus the location, it is perfect.
The bad things are: the room size is very small, no minibar, no safebox & very funny wardrobe with a curtain, in addition to the breakfast buffet (not recommended), just go to Pomme de Pain next to the hotel you'll get better options.

Room Tip: View on the side street in the most upper floor
