“Small, but cozy”
Reviewed 7 February 2013

Clean facilities, close to the city center, bicycle rental and subway station. You can walk to a lot of places such as shopping malls, moulin rouge, Louvre museum and others.
I reccomend if you are in Paris for a few days with your girlfriend and don't want (or can't) to spend a lot of money on a fancy hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms on the front are good, but a little noisy.

Our room was small, no cupboards but there is a place to hang your coat. If you stay here don't bring much clothing as you will have to leave it in the suitcase. The room was clean and warm, as we stayed in Jan the warmth was needed. The Metro is just down the road, but be warned if you have mobility problems you will struggle. The metro (M13) will take you straight to the Champs-élysées. When we arrived Linda (the receptionist ) was very helpful and friendly. Take note, there is a safe in the reception where you can leave passports etc but you have to leave all other valuables including iPads and computers in your room. It suited us this time but will not return as the area is unsuitable for people with mobility problems and we like a bit more room to swing our cat lol. Good place for the young with limited funds.

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend trip. We were on a budget so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. It seemed like a typical cheap(er) Paris hotel - almost a step up from a hostel? The rooms are TINY - literally two small beds and not much room for bags or to move, but that's expected in Paris. The shower is also TINY, so if you're overweight, you might want to seriously consider looking elsewhere as it may be a very tight squeeze. Very small bathroom. Again, we expected all of this for the price we were paying. If you want something larger or nicer, you will end up paying more. The location was very convenient to the train system, so that was nice. The area itself wasn't very busy or hip.

One thing that was extremely annoying was that we had another one of our friends meet us at the hotel the morning we left. She was dropped off by a colleague very early in the morning (4am) due to the colleague's work schedule. When we went to check out, the hotel thought 3 people had been staying in the room. We said no and explained that she had been dropped off earlier that morning to take the trip to the airport with us. The man on the front desk was originally trying to get us to pay 50 euros for her and then "dropped the price" to 25 euros. We had to get to the airport so we didn't have the time to continue to argue, so we bit the bullet and paid 25 euros for someone who had been helping us pack and get ready for 3 hours. If the hotel is going to charge you to take a guest up to the room, then they need to advertise that. We could understand if she'd stayed the night, but that was not the case so we felt cheated out of that 25 euros (spent for nothing - just thrown out the window).

I don't know that we'd stay here again. You're either going to be a cheap hotel or a nice one - no nickel and diming.

Room Tip: I'm not sure that one would be better than the other. We were facing the courtyard, so that was...

Spent 4 days here in December, great location, staff were friendly. Rooms are small, we were in 601 and was on 2 levels, but as we spent less than 7 hours a day/night in there it was not a problem. I will say to the management though please keep your heated discussions away from the guests as I spent an entire breakfast having to listen to two of you moaning at each other. Will stay here again.

Room Tip: Typical Paris hotel so I don't think it matters what room you stay in as it's only for sleep...

I loved the location of this hotel, very close to 2 subway stops, a small grocery store, restaurants, cafes, etc. 2 of the 3 front desk workers I encountered (both men) were not very friendly, however the other woman who I spoke with had just started that day and was very helpful and pleasant. The elevator was broken most of the time we were there and the bellhop was not working when we checked in/out so we had to take our own luggage upstairs. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very outdated and there was no hair dryer, so bring your voltage adapter. Additionally, there was no safe in this room either.

Der guest, we thank you for this comment and apologize for the inconvenience occured during you stay about the elevator. It must be repared for safety reasons so we may stop it and bell boys were at disposal during the day to help guests to carry luggages. We could understand that it was an uncomfortable situation and apologize again for it. We want to insure you that we try to do our best to let our guest spend a pleasant stay in Paris. We hope that we could welcome you again in one hotel of your chain New Hotel. Best regards

When staying at a hotel the main priority for me is that it is clean. Yes, the bedrooms and bathrooms are small but immaculate and who goes to paris to stay in the hotel all day? The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing. We were there for 3 days and 2 things let this hotel down. The first is that the lift never worked the whole time we were there and we were on the fourth floor, and after a whole day of walking around paris and climbing endless stairs up Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe, the last thing we wanted was to climb 4 flights in the hotel. Breakfast was poor. Croissants, pastries, cereal was the choice. The yoghurts wer cheap and runny and I tried to make toast and was informed the toaster was broken. The toaster was never fixed or replaced during our stay even though there was a shop 100 yards down the street selling toasters, kettles etc. By the last day we didnt even have breakfast in the hotel because I was fed up eating Croissants. It didnt spoil our holiday as Paris was beautiful but I would not stay here again.

We know that it's was unpleasant and we tried to do our best to minimise the inconvenience. Now it's working again, with safety.
