Stayed at the Mercure for five nights. It looked pretty nice, but when we got into our room, the WC smelled of urine; like people were missing their target. We used our Febreeze and clorox wipes to do a little maintenance to kill the smell. The room itself looked clean. The beds were hard as rock and the pillows were mush. The next day, we asked the lady at the front desk if we could get extra comforters to sleep on and we were told they didn't have any (actually, I don't even think she checked). The day after, we asked again, but with a different person. He had housekeeping bring them up; that helped a bit. The Mercure is only an average hotel; much like a Best Western. Minimal amenities. In a relatively good location. It is close to the Metro. Although it wasn't horrible, I wouldn't stay there again.
