“Very Good Location. Very Comfortable Bed. Nice for a Short Stay.”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Typical budget hotel right next to Hotel Mercure. 24 reception. Spacial lobby. Rooms are small but good-sized compared to the normal hotel rooms in Paris. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. That was a nice surprise from a budget hotel. Right across the bridge is a main street where there are shops and restaurants. Only 5 to 10 mins walk to Metro stations Place de Clichy or Blanche. When we went back to the hotel at 2am, we were still able to get ice from the canteen for chilling our wines. I believe the canteen is open 24 hrs round the clock. Basically it is a nice area in Montmarte where you feel safe. The only thing is right outside the hotel entrance, there is little space for you to stop the car and unload the luggage. If the spot is taken up, you will have to have one manning the car and one unloading everything and taking them to the hotel. We had no help.

Was a typical ibis but what we loved about this hotel was the location. The staff were also very helpful which isn't always the case in Paris. The price was good. It was a budget hotel a bit cramped and lacking atmosphere but was excellent value right near the moulin rouge.

Stayed here for the France v Ireland 6 Nations match. We stayed the 14th & 15th March.

We travelled by Le Shuttle and the drive to Paris was straightforward ...the only headache was finding the hotel once we had left the motorway! It's set off a main thoroughfare (sorry, can't remember the name of the road, but it's literally a couple of turns once you leave the motorway).

The hotel itself is a typical budget type hotel, with budget furnishings, budget decor and a budget breakfast (a school canteen type setting). But for what we wanted, it was perfect. Basically a crash-pad. Importantly, it also felt secure with high visibility of staff at reception. And it was very clean and tidy.

The local area had little going for it, however, everything you want to see and do is a short trip on the Metro, including Stade de France. The weekend we were there the Metro was free because of the pollution at ground level.

All in all, a good value and very basic hotel, if all you want is a secure place to hang your hat :-)

Room Tip: Get a room as high up as you can and preferably at the back of the hotel, to avoid noise

Does what it says on the tin.

Basic, but clean. Location is pretty good - Montmartre is a nice area, interesting, good places to eat, and yet you can get into the centre pretty easily. Quite hilly, so be prepared to hike around a bit.
Head towards Sacre Coeur for good eats - but don't hike up the steep hill (except to see the church) as prices rise with the gradient.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room location.

We stayed in the hotel between 8 and 12 may 2014. Good location, easily accessed by metro and close to Opera station ( for airport transfers by roissybus-currently 10.50 euros per person).
We booked in January and paid 343.40 euros (4 nights) which I feel is a fair price compared to other options for the area.
Clean, quiet, free wi-fi.
The breakfast option wasn't exactly to our liking, no eggs/omelette and not enough choice of fresh vegetables/fruit, but it's subjective and depends on what you prefer.
Shower is a decent size and clean. Overall happy with the stay, no issues with check in and out.
