“My slice of Parisian heaven”
Reviewed 18 August 2014 via mobile

I stayed here on a short trip for a wedding. The concierge, Christopher, made sure I was well cared for and welcomed. I loved how he never forgot my name and gave me advice on where to eat, where to catch the shuttle, etc. I loved the room. It was cozy, well appointed, and quite lovely. I had booked a single room at a fantastic low rate months ago, yet there was a queen bed... upgrade? Though small, it would have held two people comfortably. It was perfectly situated and was a great launching point for the various sites. I had a great time.

This hotel must not be overlooked. It is a stones-throw from the famous coveted Champs-Élysées.
The beautiful boutique hotel features modern contemporary rooms boasting quality service. Special mention to the hotel concierge Christopher who exceeds above and beyond customer service in favour of his guests! Cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Galileo for 5 day at the end of July. Prior to arrival I had emailed the hotel regarding upgrading the room I had booked, as It was a trip to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. From the start Christopher was more than helpful and secured both of us a lovely room on the 5th floor, with a private veranda opening out on to a surprisingly quite street considering it was 200 m from the Champs-Elysées.

From arrival all staff were very welcoming, all being very polite and accommodating. The room was of a comfortable size and at no point did we feel too incased.

In the package we booked it included free breakfast every morning, which perfectly suited us. Plenty of pastries, meats and hot drinks. Nothing extravagant but ideal for a good feed in the morning. I would also like to apologise and also thank all the breakfast staff who were happy to sit us on two occasions even though we were down late in the morning and missed service.

The hotel is perfectly placed and only a very short walk to the closest metro station 'George V'.

Overall our stay at Hotel Galileo couldn't have been more perfect, for our first trip to Paris. A small and simple yet beautiful hotel. We will definitely be back soon!

I would finally like to add my many thanks to the concierge Christopher who in which makes visiting this hotel alone very worthwhile. I hope all is well with you.

Many thanks again,

Conor Maguire

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 5th floor with the beautiful Veranda.

We stayed at the hotel galileo at the end of july for 5 days. the location is outstanding with access to the metro 1.5 blocks away and a 5 to 6 block walk to the Seine. Christopher the concierge is WONDERFUL , incredibly helpful and upbeat. we were able to watch the final stage of the Tour de France from our balcony .
overall the rooms are very clean and updated not roomy by american standards, but the hotel is charming never the less.
would stay here again when we return to Paris.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night but it was really lovely. The room was cute, comfy and very clean. The location was perfect and right next to lots of beautiful sights. If you are looking for a hotel that is very central and within walking distance of everything this is it!

Just off the Avenue des Champs Elysees with it's crowds and animation, this charming hotel is a great find for a calm stay in the heart of Paris. Warm welcome; excellent clean, quiet room with mini bar and tea-making facilities. Very helpful staff. Short walk to Metro station to access other areas.
