I was traveling by myself and booked the least expensive room in the hotel. Room was tiny but was more than adequate for one person. There was a tiny room with a toilet right as soon as you walked in the room and the shower and sink were in a different room. As stated before, toilet room as tiny, maybe 1" clearance between door and toilet edge. I've stayed at the Intercontinental Le Grand across the street and have had rooms with a similar bathroom set-up, but never such a tiny toilet room, this may be an issue for some people.
Concierge had umbrellas available which was nice as it was raining during most of my stay.
I did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on that. There are many places to eat nearby and you can always take the metro right down the street.
There is nothing that makes the hotel special, but if you get a good deal and don't expect much I think you may be happy, it's clean, comfortable, and ideally situated.
