Very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the rooms. This is a great location to get to Les Magasins.... Printemps, Gal. Lafayette and the sites. Also located 500m from RER and Metro links. Busy hotel and now seems to cater for the multitude of Chinese tourists with their passion for LV bags and everything European.

Room Tip: The front side rooms look on the street is on Blv Hausmann- could be noisy.

Lovely hotel in beautiful area of Paris.
Comfortable rooms, and gracious front desk, housekeeping, and lounge attendents.
We were especially comforted by David at front desk who made us feel very welcomed.
The lovely personnel at this hotel is the reason why my husband and I usually choose Marriotts while traveling.

Just back from this hotel after a three day stay, found it very clean and welcoming. Our room was quite large, with a lovely big bed.

Very clean and if we needed anything extra just had to ask.

Staff on reception very helpful as was the concierge who gave us ideas on where to eat and booked tables for us.

Breakfasts were good and very enjoyable. Would stay here again as it was very central and met our needs.

So let me start off by saying everyone at this hotel was EXTREMELY nice and very accommodating. The hotel itself and the rooms are pretty. The room was very small but then again that is very common in France and Europe in general. I do however know of some other places that had bigger rooms. The small room didn't bother us as much but I know it can bother others easily so it is worth mentioning in the review. The one thing that we hated about this hotel and it could have been isolated to our room... we do not know. The room was extremely HOT... mind you it was winter so naturally the heater was on throughout the hotel. However, they had a thermostat in the room to control the heater settings to turn it off or cool the room down. The room was always very hot and we were sweating in our sleep. They have a window but it has a lock on it so you can't open it (for security reasons). If we could have opened the window problem would have been resolved. We talked to someone about it and they were very nice enough to bring us a fan to use in the room. That definitely helped but was not the idea situation. Due to that little experience we would not stay again... not knowing if it was normal or an isolated instance makes me worry. Again, I say all of this but the people are very nice. The hotel halls and rest of the hotel was not as hot as the room. This hotel has a concierge level for Marriott Elite members and we sure used it. The concierge room was really nice and it had a nice selection of early evening offerings. The hotel location is very convenient and not far from a subway station we used all the time throughout our journey. Aside from the issue with our room the hotel was very nice!

Room Tip: Ask for a city view.

No offense to vanilla. There are people who love vanilla. I am not one of them.
The hotel is completely unoffensive. Clean, compact, and convenient -- and that pretty much covers it.
Within walking distance to the Louvre (as are so many other hotels) and the Opera (who cares?) the location is fair but somewhat like staying on Madison Avenue in NYC.
Midtown.
Yawn.
In Paris, with abundance of culture and flavor, why settle for vanilla?
And what is UP with bathrooms that have no locks on the doors??????

Room Tip: Choose another hotel?

Dear Winks1006,
Thanks for your review, indeed we want to go for chocolate cookies rather than Vanilla, to keep up with you, I would be very interested to have your input in order to make your stay a better one for next time.
I remain at your entire disposal.
Warm regards
Camille
