Nothing more of a bummer if you're off for a romantic weekend and end up in crappy hotel. Not with this place though. The 23sqm room is rather vast by Paris boutique hotel standards and neatly furbished. Bed was great and we had terrific pillows. In a less than 5' walk you're at the Metro Blanche. Crossing the street brings you in the beautiful Montmartre district. The hotel is on a corner of a busy street (especially at night, being in the Pigalle neighborhood) so if you a light sleeper, ask for a room on the upper floors ! Rather funny was how the minibar was put in the wardrobe, leaving only 30cm or something between hangers and fridge: impossible to hang a shirt. Anyhow, breakfast was superb with fresh orange juice, croissants à gogo, good hot coffee and a lot more in the cosy basement with vaulted ceilings. Considering the price we paid, this is a very good place to stay for the weekend.

We picked this hotel at random for our last two days in Paris after staying at one of the larger big names. The location is close to the Blue, Line 2 metro and a short walk to the Moulin Rouge.

The decore and furnishings in the hotel are great and tasteful. Beds were comfortable and climate control works well in the rooms. Breakfast was included in our stay and was a nice selection of options.

The only thing that does let it down is being on a busy corner, it does quiet down later in the evening but it can still be a concern for light sleepers.

Townsville residents are obviously not up to date with floor furnishings as the "outdoor carpet" is actually bolon.

We had the 23 sqm room and there was a cupboard and plenty of space to put our bags down and walk around. Would definitely stay here again when we return.

Room Tip: Get the superior double room.

I think Snow White and the seven dwarfs wrote the reviews for this hotel, no wardrobe to hang clothes, outdoor carpet on the floors, so noisy, they should have double glazed glass, I could not recommend this hotel for a stay in Paris.

Room Tip: Definitely do not stay near the mouflon rouge, this strip is very noisy, I last stayed near the Eiff...

quite nice and well decorated hotel. close to central paris and subway stop. rooms has good designs, but since it is converted from a standard apartment, my room was too small.

breakfast should be much much more better, since it is a 4 star hotel., There were almost nothing to eat just egg and bread :(

Hotel Josephine is in a great location not far from the Moulin Rouge in the district of Montmartre. We went for a city break for a few days and the location made it easy and enjoyable for sightseeing around Paris. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the place is very clean and modern. The breakfast area in the cellar is also lovely but there were a few things with our room which let it down a little. We were on the first floor overlooking the road. We are use to living in London so the noise wasn't too off-putting with the windows closed but because the air-conditioning was poor we had to have all three windows open overnight so we could sleep. The room had no wardrobe to put your clothes, the shower leaked all over the floor and the soap tray and toilet holder kept falling off. The breakfast wasn't great but the being able to freshly squeeze your juice was a lovely addition, Overall, it was nice but if they just some of the little things it would of been great.

The Hotel is newly renovated. The atmosphare is very charming and the people at the reception nice and friendly!

The restaurant tip from the man at the reception was great: Aromatik - you should try... ;-)

We really loved staying in that nice hotel with - our Paris trip was just perfect and this was also because of "Hotel Josephine"...

I stayed in this hotel with my friend from University from 14th - 16th Oct. We were looking somewhere central and affordable. Hotel Josephine ticked all our boxes. The location was perfect. We slept the entire night and didn't hear a sound. Breakfast was really nice with fresh food every morning. You can even squeeze your own orange juice.

The hotel staff were really accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. Checking in and checking out was swift with no fuss. Reception is staffed 24/7 so there is always someone there if you need them.

The room was small however, it was pristine clean. The toilet and shower are in separate parts of the room which makes easier when traveling with people for getting ready.

My parents are travelling in the new year to Paris and I've recommended Hotel Josephine and it is a hotel I will be returning to.

Room Tip: 5th floor rooms have a balcony.
