Good hotel in an ideal location for Eurostar travellers. The room was a good size with almost everything you would need for a short stay in Paris (decent bathroom, small TV and free WiFi). Friendly staff organised flowers in advance of my stay and I found that the location was close to a Tube station for travelling around. Due to the weather we did find it stuffy and the windows were open, but this can mean noise especially during breakfast time.

Good option for one transit night in Paris because it's located near the North Railway Station. The street is quiet, the building looks good. Our room was very small and with basic equipement, but it was O.K. for short stay. There was free WiFi connection, clean but old fashion bathroom and small TV. Overall nothing special but I don't have complains. The staff were polite and friendly, no problems with check-in/out or our bill.

Typical budget hotel in Paris in quite good location close to Gare du Nord (10 min walking). The hotel is located on quiet street in a nice historic building. The staff were friendly and competent. Check-in /out without any formalities. The room was rather small but ok for one transit night in paris. The equipment is basic but clean. There is free Wifi in the room, quite fast to use. the bathroom was not modern but acceptable. Breakfast wasn't included in the rate and I didn't use it.

I booked this hotel for a valentine surprise for my wife and it did not disappoint for the price. We had a warm welcome after a short walk from the Gare du Nord, arriving by Eurostar. The girl receptionist was delightful and helpful and upgraded us to a very quiet and cheerful room -not much of a view mind you. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom well equiped, the decor and furnishings bright and clean. The foyer and bar area is charming. On the last day we were able to leave our luggage all day until the train left. This is an area that has so much to offer and the hotel is in walking distance of many things - e.g. the Opera Garnier, the Galeries Lafayette. There is a delightful square just down from the hotel. We were lucky to have excellent weather but the hotel would in any case have kickstarted some Parisian magic.

The hotel is located conveniently close to Gare du Nord which is very useful for the RER line going to the airport and exhibition. The hotel is clean, warm, tastefully decorated and the breakfast is good with real croissants and fresh coffee.
What I take exception to was the receptionist's overexuberant praise of German virtues such as their organisation, cleanliness, professionalism etc but he was quick to highlight which cultures he did not like. It was quite off-putting. As we were having a coffee in the bar he continued his rant about other non-German cultures and did not really let us enjoy the drinks we had paid for. For this reason the place gets three stars.

The restaurants in the nearby area is not much to write home about.

I won't tell you that Paris is lovely, becouse it is and you know that. But I will tell you that our second time in Paris (2007-2008), we stayed in this hotel and we found it really nice, according to the room price.

Breakfast was plentifull and good. The staff was ok, helpful. There was one receptionist who tried to make us speak French, not English, once he knew that we know a few words.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, near the Opera, you cand just walk up to LaFayette.
