From the moment we left home in Plymouth Devon the train journeys to London then on to Paris, two days guided tours and the journeys home, we were delighted with the whole package. The ibis alesia was perfect and in a lovely part of the city with good restaurants and bus connections. We will use Riviera Travel again for sure and may even take the same break.

Room Tip: No preferences all ok

We stayed at this hotel from July 4th for four days, the hotel is fine, the breakfast is nice with typical buffet style, no pushing and shoving. The room small but that was ok as we hardly in there only to sleep, only downside no tea/coffee facilities in room. Paris is gorgeous, great sightseeing, shopping etc and we used the metro every day which from the hotel is 5 mins walk to either line 4 or 13 with each one taking you either to the Tower or Notre Damm or wherever u fancy. We went with Riviera Travel with a rep called Chris. He was brilliant. Told us everything and very helpfull. We only did 1 trip with him as we like to go everywhere. The trip was lovely apart from the rain lol. We would definatly go again to the hotel and with this company. Euro Star good although we had 1 hour delay but got lots of free goodies. I would recommend this holiday. Hotel in 14th district, you will need metro or buses to get around or you can go on the trips to see the sights .

Room Tip: Do not choose an ajoining room as you can hear everything next door.

We spent three nights in this hotel which is located conveniently in walking distance to Alesia Metro Station.Rooms are too small its really hard to move inside. The breakfast is good and there is enough variety. They really have helpful and friendly front office staff.

As I said in the titel, overall it was ok. But there were some details which I think are good to have, therefore I'm giving only 2/5 instead of 3/5.
Let's start with the room. We had a twin bed room, which was not quite big, but definiteley worth the price.
However, there were two details, which I think are mandatory nowadays. There was no safe in the room and to be honest, I did not trust the staff, as I know that theft is quite common in Paris. Furthermore we did not have a mini-bar. So to get something to drink when we got home in the night, we had to go to the reception to ask for water. The second night they told us that they do not have water anymore.
The matress of the bed was comfortable, but it was a bit annoying that it did'nt stick to the bed frame.
Another issue was the hair dryer. Ther is one, yes. But it is such a bad hair that I had to dry my hair with a towel, otherwise I would have been standing there for about 1 hour.
There are also some other things to improve. As I said, all in all 2/5

We were booked into this hotel by Riviera Travel. It was ideal for the purpose as the excursion coach was able to collect us from the door and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were appropriate to the star rating of the hotel - quiet, clean and reasonably sized. The staff were friendly and helpful.
