The room was very tiny with just barely enough room to walk around the bed. Bed and pillows were firm and not very comfortable. The location was next to lots of shops and restaurants and only 2 blocks from a metro stop so convenient for getting around Paris. Staff was always friendly when and helpful.

I have stayed in numerous hotels in UK France, Belgium, Germany, etc. This "hotel" is the dirtiest, most nasty and dingy space that a human could occupy. Dirty sheets, hot, stuffy and literally no place to put two moderately sized suitcases. Right outside the room window (literally one story down) is a noisy bar that was still carrying on with loud obnoxious drunks at 1:00am... "students" hollering and pissing in the street..I won't even get into the rudeness of the front desk attendant. My daughter speaks French and he acted as if he was doing us a favor by ignoring us. Did I mention the filthy lobby? The fan attached to the wall had dark greasy looking cobwebs that would make the Addams family proud. To sum up, I wouldn't use the place to house livestock. We moved to another hotel at 1:30 am this place was so bad. You have been warned!

Stayed there for a few nights last October. On first impressions I thought I had really made a huge mistake especially the location and the carpet on the corridor which was very grubby. However location was excellent quiet, spotless room, good breakfast but the reception staff were the Worst I've EVER encountered!.Unhelpful, barely uttered a few words, never gave us any help or directions to nearest Metro. I had problems trying to locate my documentation when I arrived .Was searching frantically through my luggage but was never asked by the receptionist my name/booking etc. in an effort to check our booking on the Hotels system (even though it was obvious I was getting frantic trying to locate my documentation0 Would hate to tarnish housekeeping or restraurant staff who could give lessons to the reception staff on manners and courtesy
.

The placement of this hotel is terrific. The street is frequented by young people from the Sorbonne. And convenient to the Metro.

But the rooms are tiny. If you dropped the soap in the shower, you'd have to step out to pick it up. And not much room for luggage, but you can shove your bags under the beds. A tiny closet.

The rooms are clean and modern. The elevator on our side of the hotel takes 2 people, no luggage. There's a larger elevator in the back serving the back of the hotel.

The people at the desk were friendly and helpful and spoke some English.

Room Tip: If you get one of the two rooms in the front, it will be noisy at night unless you keep the windows...

We absolutely loved the Latin Quarter and all of the great restaurants and nightlife. Walking distance to the Pantheon and Notre Dame Cathedral. Metro stop is close by maybe a block away. Rooms are quite small but clean and we did not have a problem with our stay. Edith at the front desk was fabulous and gave us some great tips. We may not have went to the Palace of Versailles without her recommendation. I would go back again just to stay in this perfect location.

The positives: This hotel is in a great location - - walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The Latin Quarter is quite invigorating. The room was small but very clean.
The negatives: I have traveled a lot and have never experienced front desk staff so rude and unwilling to assist (with the exception of Edith). You have to pay for WiFi, and it often did not work. The night desk attendant refused to try a reboot. He said to wait until 7:00 a.m. when day staff came in even though we explained that there had been a death of a family member back home. Any question we had of day front desk man would be met with a wave of his hand.
