“Amazing Hotel”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

Me and My Mrs stayed at Best Western at a long weekend. Lovely staff, very helpful, very clean, tidy, modern. Beds were so comfortable, slept like a baby. We had a great time in Paris and Best Western made it special. We will love to stay here again.

Room Tip: If you are looking for modern, cosy located in center. This is the hotel for you.

Stayed on business - will return for pleasure. Located on a quiet side street which conducive to a good sleep in an excellent bed. Very helpful reception staff, nice quality bedrooms / bathrooms and good breakfast selection in the cellar downstairs.

Be aware that the area might suit everyone e.g. Homeless people camping out under the arch at the end of the small street that the hotel is located on.

Certainly recommend and plan to return.

Dear guest,
Thank you for this lovely comment. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Paris. During the night there are homeless in most of the quiet place but they just want to sleep and there is no reason to be afraid.
We hope to see you again.

This was a very nice hotel resoanbly located within walking distince of Notre Dame. The staff very friendly and allowed early check in which was very welcome having just flown in from New Zealand. The only down side was the lower floors were being revnovated. The hotel was otherwise quiet and facilities good.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for this nice comment. We are quite close from everything in the city like the Louvres, the Halles. But you can also see a lot of things in the area like the Passage Brady, the Saint-Martin historical Paris’ door and all the theatres around the hotel. The check in time is at 2 pm but if we have room ready before we always give it to make you start well you trip. Once again, thank you for commenting your stay.
Best regards

The hotel is located perfectly to explore Paris with the metro station just outside the hotel. It is a little small, however the room has everything you could need and more! Would agree you need to be aware whilst in the area directly around the hotel, but that said you need to be in any large city so would not let that influence a decision to stay. Reception team were beyond helpful in helping us plan the best way to see the city, providing maps and helping plan onward travel. Well worth the money!

Dear guest,

Thank you for taking the time to comment your stay.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Paris, the hotel is located in the center of the city so you can reach them. For the rooms, unfortunalty, like in every big city all the building are historical so it’s a bit complicated. Concerning the area it’s a cosmopolitan area with a lot of culture and there is no reason to be afraid.
We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again on your next trip.
Best regards

we arrived in Paris in the afternoon and were a little apprehensive of the local area. Homeless men sleeping under the arch and groups of men hanging around . That said, the hotel staff were very friendly and although the room was very small for a 'superior' it was very comfortable, especially the bed. We only had breakfast the first morning, which was lovely but on the second day the breakfast room was too full and no spare tables. On our last morning we sat down for breakfast, waited ages for our table to be set, the coffee had run out, Cold meats etc had not been replaced. The guy was struggling to keep up with demand so we left and had breakfast down the road.
Our room was very quiet and clean .

Room Tip: Number 25 was very quiet and fab bed

Dear Pauline,
Thank you for the comment. There is no reason to be apprehensive about the area, there are unfortunately a lot of homeless in Paris like in every big city but they will not talk to you. For the breakfast you can ask to have it in the lobby if you want because the breakfast room could be full quite fast.
We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again.

I will never forget how relaxing my stay was in this hotel! I had to admit that I was very exhausted as I reached Paris, so any bed of any quality would suffice me just right. Upon my arrival my room was upgraded to the best category(la Plume) without my asking, iPod docking station, big flatscreen digital TV and the Nespresso machine in the room added to the top notch of this hotel. The abundant breakfast of top quality gave another prove of the seriousness of this hotel to make every guest satisfied. Well, I was. Let me get back to the bed: it was divine, it made me fell like sleeping in the cloud, lightness and warmth surrounded me. Eventhough space was not overwhelmingly available in this building, the architect had done a damned good job to come up with excellent solutions. The only negative thing I had to comment here was that the bathroom was not heated.

Dear guest,
Thank you from all the staff for this amazing comment. We are really glad you enjoyed the room and your stay with us. With the renovation we change every thing: the bed, the decoration the breakfast… Like your said the architect use all the space available to create a good atmosphere and make you feel like home.
Once again thank you for this comment, we hope to welcome you again soon.

I've been to Paris before, and this hotel has been by far the best one I've stayed at. The price for our 4 night stay and what we got for that price - is unbelievable.

We arrived to Paris Orly at late evening in February, and took the Orlybus and line 4 metro to get to the hotel. Very fast service and in less than an hour we found the hotel, fast check-in and to rest at the room.

I read very little about the area, and did not know that it is considered unsafe or whatsoever. Arriving at night, we had no problems, nor I found the area at any nights scary or unsafe. On weekends the Saint-Denis underground station area was lively, with lots of people around, young and old. On Sunday afternoon the area was also very lively. So we didn't have a clue that it was considered unsafe, nor we experienced or felt that way at any point.

The room was small, but it had all you need in it. By far the cleanest and nicest room I've stayed at in Paris. The bed was comfortable, and we slept great. There was a coffee maker with capsules also provided in the room, and tea bags. Lots of hangers (I've been to other hotels similar to this - small room, little space, and they usually have a hanger or two), a safe box that would fit a laptop, a whole body mirror, good shower with warm water, makeup mirror and a hairdryer I've never seen in a hotel - powerful to say the least. What I liked the most about the room was the lightning of the bathroom. Wifi worked on all devices at all times.

Very clean room, and it was cleaned twice during our stay - even the sheets were changed. The isolation I think was okay too, Paris is a big city, there are noises. But none to disturb your sleep, even during the weekend. We had a room on the 3rd floor, with windows to the back side of the hotel - Brady Passage. Room 39 was at the end of the corridor - very calm.

We did not try the breakfast at the hotel. The front desk staff was helpful at all times, and they do provide luggage storage.

Will definitely check out availability and offers for my future Paris trips and recommend to others.

Dear guest,

From all the staff thank you very much for this lovely comment. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in Paris . There is no worries to have about the area, it’s very safe and popular. And it’s close from the most important attraction in Paris. People is are like in a village. We renovated all the hotel one year and half ago and we improved the facilities in the room, with the Nespresso machine, the safe and the Ipod station. We are in the center of Paris but located in a pedestrian street so you are not disturb by the traffic. Next time you should try the breakfast in the vaulted stone ceiling.
We hope to welcome you again soon.
Sincerely your
