“impersonal staff but Great location”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

Stayed here 2 nights in August, we had 2 double privilege rooms on 12 floor. We booked a special summer deal which included breakfast. The rooms were large enough, very clean and had a great view of the tower and it was amazing watching it sparkle when laid in bed. Safe in room, coffee maker, fridge with free soft drinks were very nice touches. But only 2 cartons of milk, we had to keep going and requesting more, why?
So annoying, as was the non replacement of toileterries on second day Make sure you bring your own..I dont like the seperate toilet/shower room set up, it makes for very little space in either. The beds were really comfortable.

Breakfast, was disappointing, on the first morning we were seated in a side extension, where I think the tour groups breakfast. I picked up a chipped mug, then no water or coffee in the machines, most of the food trays were empty which meant walking round to the far end of the main breakfast room. I asked to be moved the young lady wasnt happy, I found a table in the main area and she did eventually clear this, she was annoyed but so was I. The breakfast choice were extensive hot and cold food, but very slow to refill the hot food containers. The general feeling was of indifference and poor organisation, butter not on the bread and toast section but over near cereals, no clean cups available for 5 minutes, all small grumbles but they add up to spoiling the start of ones day.( We did comment the following day in a rival chain 2 star hotel how hard the young man worked keeping all the food trays topped up)
Would I stay here again, yes in a privilege room which we were allowed to keep until 3pm. But its the location that really matters, minutes from the tower, the start of
the bus tours, the river boats and metro to all of Paris. Nice little restaurants close by. We enjoyed our stay but we feel it could have been much better.

Room Tip: Book privilege room on 12 Floor the view of the Eiffle Tower at night is wonderful and the room ext...

We came here as two friends for a weekend away in August.
The location is superb and the view from our room (1210) was just out of this world. We had a few niggles. Firstly when checking in the woman on reception took 1€ on my credit card and I never really knew why however we were allowed to check in early so that was good!
The room was a little small for both of us, there was only 2 channels on the TV that were in English but we weren't there to watch tv. We also couldn't get the iPod docking station or the iron at the end of the corridor to work. But the pluses outweigh the minuses. As I said the location was amazing, the night staff on the Saturday night (one was called Yann and the other I think Christian -he liked jogging - ) were really helpful when we needed directions for the following days trip to Jardins de Luxembourg. The soft drink minibar was free and was restocked. The bed was comfy and has lovely memory foam pillows, we had complimentary robe and slippers and although we were only there Friday to Sunday, our room was cleaned and we were given new towels and complimentary chocolates.
If I were to ever come to Paris again and I really hope I do, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The room was perfect. Quite we were on the 4th floor and had no road noise. Clean rooms, nice rain shower. We had a room with a double bed and pull out couch which was perfect for two adults and a teen. We made good use of the fridge and safe available. The only thing keeping this hotel from a 5 star is that being near the Eiffel Tower is not the location near most other sights, but we used the bus with no problems.

Besides the beds are very hard (too hard for Americans). This was a nice little hotel room with nice staff. Clean and very quiet.

Although the showers are designed by someone very stupid- they are designed so when you are in the shower you get the entire bathroom floor wet. Wish they would fix this.

Great location near to the Eiffel Tower, excellent public transportation nearby. A grocery store and laundromat within a couple of blocks.
We will stay here again.

Very good hotel it ideal location for Eiffel Tower, close tourist attractions and other amenities. Rooms small but pleasant, good house keeping, front desk staff very helpfully, eating outside and drinking high recommended as drinks prices seems to be to high at the hotel; good value for the money, highly recommended for a city break.

Booked through booking.com and at arrival they couldn't find my reservation, although I had a confirmation number, they kept saying there was a credit card problem and that the reservation was cancelled.

The gentleman at the reception called the manager to find a solution, the lady came fully stressed and started screaming something in french to the guy and although I don't understand french 100% I could notice how he told her to please calm down in front of the client.

2 times she wanted to explain me the problem with the reservation and I asked her to please give me a solution not explanations!

We (my 8 year old daughter and me) waited 1.30 hours with no response went out for a walk and came back to a NO solution manager. We requested a taxi that could stop at an atm first and the hotel got us a taxi that not only didn't wanted to stop at the atm but that also charged us the minimum rate for paying with card that it turned out to be the double as the actual trip cost.

A terrible beginning in Paris.

We booked at last minute another place, a marvelous one, with amazing service that cost us the double but that at least we got some respect.

The location of this hotel is incredible but nothing can cope for such a bad service.
