My husband and I stayed in May for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly, professional and English speaking staff that informed us that our room was upgraded. We arrived very early in Paris and didn't think our room would be ready, however, they allowed us to check in extremely early (this was HUGE for us, as we were able to shower after our long flight before sight-seeing for the day). Our luggage was lost by the airlines during travel and although it was not their responsibility, out of concern for us they worked with the airlines to ensure we got our luggage back. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the location couldn't have been better. Located in a charming area away from the hustle & bustle but close enough for a gorgeous walk to the Eiffel Tower and metro. The owner personally gave me a small bottle of Hermès perfume as a parting gift and stated that, "They put the luxuries they dream of having in their own home one day into their hotel". I felt safe, informed, comfortable, appreciated and happy while at the Hotel Ares and will stay again next time we are in Paris.

Myself, my husband, and my 4 year old stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Ares Paris the summer of 2013. I wish we could've stayed and explored the city longer. It is in a very good area both safety wise, and for exploring the city. We could easily walk to the Eiffel Tower in less than 10 min. We were close to the train (which we used) And close for picking up tour busses. There are quite a few good restaurants near by, but all are expensive and have open air fronts which is lovely on a summer night (but I did see a mouse in one). The hotel itself is charming, and the staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy, the couch pulled out for a bed for my son and while the room was tight, it was great for sleeping which really was all we used it for. It was very hot that summer and the air conditioning worked great and was fantastic to come home to at the end of a hot day in the city. As was a shower in the lovely bathrooms, with Hermes soaps, (nice touch). This hotel was a bit pricey but everything is in Paris, so for a nice location and clean welcoming stay you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: From some rooms you can see the top of the Eiffel tower but it is a residential/tourist area, the vi...

We were 2 families traveling to Paris for 5 days and spent them all at this hotel. What a great location and since the kids favorite place was the Eiffel Tower (that we went around to visit at least 3 times on our stay), it worked well for us. The staff are all very friendly and personable. The rooms were very comfortable for Paris standards. Great breakfast selection. Would love to come back here again!

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a lovely two night stay at Hotel Ares - we wish we could have stayed for longer! The staff are great, very helpful and friendly and the room we stayed in was lovely with the comfiest bed I think I've ever slept in! The hotel is in a great location, really central to everything with the Eiffel Tower only a short walk away. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Paris.

We stayed there for couple of days and wish we stayed for longer. Absolutely amazing location near the cafes and shops and ten minutes walk to eiffel tower yet very quiet and comfortable. The reception lady was so cute i was looking forward every day to greet her as she has such a delightful personality. Nothing made us uncomfortable at all. Excellent wi fi service and great room decor. We are couples with two young children and the room fitted us just fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to enjoy the real essence of paris.

My husband and I were fortunate to be able to take our two grandchildren, ages 10 years each, to Europe during June, 2014. Our final stop was Paris for 3 nights. I had corresponded with Hotel Ares Eiffel for many months previous to our arrival and they were always so very helpful and prompt with replies. We had been concerned that there was not a room to accommodate us and our two grandchildren because the website indicates for 2 persons in each room. I had read on tripadvisor that one family with two children had stayed there and it worked out fine. I discussed this with the hotel, and they were so accommodating and said that there is one room where the two large chairs can pull out into single beds. Well, this worked great! The beds ended up very comfortable for the children. The beds had to be lined up near each other, but that made for great fun with the children. The bathroom was adequate size and a very usual size for Paris botique hotels. It worked just fine. Closet space was adequate for us and the children. If you had 4 adults, it may be a little compact. In fact, if you had 4 adults, I would recommend two rooms, but with children this was great.
I must add that one evening we were so tired that we orderd out and the desk receptionist called in to a wonderful little restaurant and we had dinner in our room.
During our stay my little granddaughter thought it was extra special when she was presented with a bottle of Hermes cologne from the dear lady at the hotel. I am so sorry that I cannot recall her name. She was so concerned that we have a wonderful visit.
I also really enjoyed this lovely gift.
Concerning breakfast - they had the best yogurt that I have had in Europe, even in Switzerland. It was wonderful. Their coffee was deliciious and if you enjoy eggs they are made hot off the grill for you. They also had lovely pastries and they truly wished for you to enjoy every minute of your stay. When our taxi pulled up to take us to the airport on the last day, the hotel manager came running out to the taxi with fresh cookies to send us off. How wonderful! The location is about a 25 minute walk through the park to get to the Eiffel Tower, but what fun to walk through the park and see all the locals out playing soccer and having fun. We think it was a grand location to get to the main sights.
If you have a chance, I think you would really enjoy this lovely little hotel. You feel like you are truly in Paris. Oh yes, there is a Starbucks just a block away. Fun!
Our highest compliments to Hote Ares Eiffel!

Impeccably clean room and really helpful staff, loved staying there. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance to Eiffel Tower. The surrounding restaurants offer good quality food at reasonable prices.
