Was there a couple of years back and it was quite a good experience for me. Cheap price with clean and cosy rooms. Within walking distance to Eiffel Tower!
The hotel is a typical of the Ibis chain. In a great location, with the Cambronne metro station just a couple of mins away. Surrounded by lots of cafes etc. Room basic and clean, albeit small, but this is typical of all Paris hotels as we know from previous visits. Little storage space in room and the bathroom was so tiny. Not big enough to dry yourself off after a shower and when you sat on the loo your knees were literally 2 inches away from the wall! No facility in shower cubicle to place/hang shower gel, shampoo etc either. Didn't try breakfast as lots of alternatives nearby. Did use the bar where the staff were helpful and very friendly. Room was advertised as available for check in from noon, but it was not ready until 1500hrs, but the hotel has a great facility of secure storage of your luggage in lockers adjacent to Reception for a small fee, so this was not really a problem. Reception has air con so lovely and cool on the hot days we stayed there, but the room itself was stifling hot and we slept on top of the duvet with the huge window open wide all night with lots of iced water to drink. Hotel were very apologetic when fire alarm activated at 0900 and we had to evacuate...they placed apology notes in the bar area and in the 3 lifts....thought this was a nice touch. Would recommend for a short stay only due to room size/bathroom.
Great location since 50 meters to the Metro, 3 stations to the train station and 3 stations to Eiffel. Don't take breakfast there but instead dine at the outlets nearby. For $9, not worth it. Room is basic with internet. No safe and coffee and team making facility. Quite neighborhood. Will come back. =)
