“Superb Hospitality!”
Reviewed 17 July 2012

Lord Byron has the best service I have ever experienced.
Most people would say Paris, for sure you would have encountered terrible service but it is a city which is changing its perception in the minds of all travellers. Beautiful city, lots of friendly people and fabulous service! What else can one ask for?

The hotel managers (especially George) are very helpful and ensure that you have a great stay! Any problems are resolved most effectively.
It is one of the places which works so well that you mind is left free to enjoy the romance of Paris.

Like the rest of Europe, the hotel is serviced by a small staff so you do not have a 24 on call plumber, etc. However, any complaints made after hours is resolved the following day.

Location- The location is a 3-5 minute walk off Champs Elysees.

Rooms - The rooms are relatively smaller; some floors are a bit slanted.
The top part of the Eiffel Tower is visible from the 5th floor.

A fantastic hotel in a beautiful city!

Room Tip: The rooms on the 5th floor have a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower.

This hotel was recommended to me for its location. It certainly is well located - near metro access, Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe and 20-30 minutes walking distance to Louvres, Jardin de Tuilleries, etc. It is a basic hotel and room - clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning and modern (albeit small) bathrooms. Breakfast is available in the mornings and is good start for the day. Staff are very helpful to get you where you need to go and with some tips for tourists. It is a safe area and I did not find it too noisy as some have written - even though I had a second floor street room. We are in a city after all so you need to expect some street noise. This is value for money but don't expect 5 star accommodations. It met my needs and I had a very pleasant 7 day stay.

This hotel is excellent value for money. Ever helpful staff.... always smiling. The lady owner was gracious and very pleasant..... Very close to the Champs Elysees and Metro. Our rooms were excellent and great size for Europe and very clean. (We had a double room and a Junior Suite) Would not go past this hotel.

This hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the George V Metro stop on the Champs Elysees, and there are a number of restaurants within a couple of blocks, so transportation, shopping, and eating are all easily reached.

We stayed 12 days, and all of the people we encountered who worked at the hotel were very, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large, have free wifi, and a refrigerator (a luxury in a European hotel).

One thing about the good location is that the hotel also seems to be located on a cobblestone street with the most effective acoustics on earth. Very early in the morning (6:00-6:15), trash and delivery trucks come by daily to service this hotel, the one next door, & the two directly across the street. This goes on for anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Unless you sleep like the dead, be prepared to be awakened early every morning. Additionally, noise from people and cars and motorcycles continues throughout the day until well into the night. The room itself was very large and very comfortable; however, with a room facing the street, there is A LOT of noise. Each of the two people I was traveling with had rooms facing the (under-construction, so don't go by the pictures on the website) courtyard on the back of the hotel, which means they each had a view (one from the bed - one from the toilet :P) of the top half of the Eiffel Tower, and their rooms were marginally quieter, although not entirely peaceful & devoid of noise, especially on the weekend nights.

Overall, this is a good hotel with good service; however, the noise in the rooms that face the street is overwhelming.

Room Tip: If you have a room on the front of the hotel, you'll be kept up late & awakened early in the...

The Lord Byron is a 3 star hotel located at a great location of Champs Elysees. The hotel is well maintained but the staff are not accomodating and helpful (some of them). The room was so clean but the size is just so-so nice for 3 of us. We had 1 bed in our room and 1 sofa bed.
it approximately a 3-5min walk to the Champs Elysees street.

kinda expensive because of its location...

surely will not come back again
