The hotel is a small 3 star...it has a nice reception area with a large curved TV...our double room was very very small...so small we didnt even have anywhere to put our cases ..the bathroom was equally tiny but very clean although the toilet seat was broken. We had a room on the 6th floor with a small balcony that you could see the Eiffel Tower to the right...full view. The sheets were straigtened every day but not changed for all 3 nights we were there as the sheet on day one had a black smudge mark which remained with us for the whole 4 days,....also they didnt have any pillow cases on the pillows ..the housekeeping just put the pillows under the bed sheet...but the pillows were extremely filthy with yellow sweat stains and a large blood spot...I asked reception for pillows and they said we should already have some...when I told them there were no pillow cases the chap said that maybe they have run out and if they have any will I be coming down to get them..!!!!... I politely refused and asked him to bring some up...I then proceeded to cover the filthy pillows myself...not good...very very bad...
Breakfast ...buffet affair...croissants, pain au chocolate , bread, boiled eggs (until they run out and not replenished)..juices and cereals with fresh fruit salad...not from a tin...jams butter and Nutella...
Nice breakfast lady who is friendly and polite..she will bring tea and coffee..no tea coffee facilities in the room...
I know in paris to expect small rooms but the room we had was bordering on the ridiculous...
The hotel charges 5euros single user and 8euros multi user per day for Internet access...not good ...wifi is standard in all hotels and derby needs to catch up and stop being greedy,..walls of hotel are super thin and can hear people talking clearly in other rooms...
There is a metro called ecole militaire round the corner from the hotel...only a couple of mins walk..and if coming from cdg airport just take the roissy bus to opera 10.5euros each kids free..and then hop on the metro to line 8 to ecole militaire and just take exit 3 which is an escalator exit to the street so no carrying cases....walk past the Carrefour mini supermarket turn left cross road and the hotel is just there.
We used easy pass tours for our Eiffel tour tickets ..they were great...just down the road from the hotel on the way to Eiffel Tower which is only 10 mins walk....they give skip the line tickets all the way to the top so no need to line up for summit tickets from the second floor.
I probably want stay in this hotel again just for the sake of the dirty pillows and no change sheets,,,and the size of the minuscule room.
