We stayed for four nights at this small boutique hotel in arrondissement 7. The hotel is in a good location with lots of cafes and restaurants close but also away from the more touristy areas. We found it so easy to get around - an easy walk to Eiffel Tower, The Seine ( batobus fantastic to get to many popular spots), Musee d'Orsay, Invalides etc. Our room was the City double with a very comfy queensize bed with lovely fresh linens and pillows. The area is very quiet and there was virtually no night time noise to disturb jetlagged travellers. The room itself was quite small so if you need space to spread out or to be able to eat in the room go for one of the larger room types. The only real problem we found with the room itself was the fact that it only had one very small window which made it overall quite dark & gloomy. There was however lots of good well designed lighting. The room is very modern chic and well fitted out. We had no problem with the bathroom being not totally private and found the fittings really nice and lots of space for toiletry bags etc. There was also tea & coffee making facilities in the room which we used often. There is a lovely terrace on the fifth floor for relaxing. The lounge / bar area is very nice but very costly for a drink or coffee. Breakfast was also served in this area. We had a breakfast included rate so we had it every morning and found it really good - much better than we had read about on the website - breads etc, eggs, fresh fruit salad, juice, amazing yogurt and good tea and coffee.
Overall we really enjoyed the hotels facilities and location but maybe would opt for one of the larger rooms in future.

my 2nd trip to paris- decided to stay after seeing the room photos and the location- photos certainly matched the room we stayed in. the room was sufficient in space for two people and luggage for our three night stay.

second floor, room 208.

bed and pillows amazingly comfy ensured a perfect night sleep. nicely decorated, carpet and room were fine. tea and cofffee facilities.

staff were friendly and spoke english to us.

good location for us; i knew the street from my previous visit so knew there were supermarches, cafes and bistros, ATM machines, pharmacy on the road- not to mention many wonderfully tempting patisseries =D

we had a meal booked at restaurant 58 tour eiffel, so was great being walking distance to the eiffel tower on the night.

two metro stops nearby- Invalides and La Tour Maubourg help getting around

we didnt try the hotel's bar or breakfast so cannot comment on.

the bathroom area of our room- just seperated by curtain, so perhaps no good for friends wanting privacy. still, it was modern in finish, and the "rainfall" shower is great- i want one.

bed was made, fresh towels daily, no interruptions from staff... no problem :)

mini bar in room, but not used.

hairdryer, television, kettle, all worked fine :)
plenty of hangers for clothes

i'm struggling to find a real fault, after 3 nights during mid-week...no interuption from the waste refuse collection in the morning either from outside.

nope, cant think of anything- i recommend staying here if it is within your budget.

we had a lot of rain and showers so made use of the umbrellas available to borrow from reception of the hotel- and warmed up on return next to the roaring fireplace.

glad i stayed here :)

Room Tip: would say 208 is a good room, end of the corridor, away from the lift.

Took my wife here for her 30th birthday, and it was an incredible trip. The hotel is fantastically located a few minutes from the Metro station La Tour Maubourg and let me assure you that the Metro is the BEST way to get around the city, so you will use this station a lot :)
The hotel is also a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower, which makes for fantastic evening strolls after a hearty French dinner. The rooms are fairly small, but that is the norm in Paris. Storage of luggage can be an issue, but not so much that it ruins the trip. The bed however is VERY comfortable and will promise you many good night's sleep.
The bathroom area is a little strange in that the only separation from the bedroom is a curtain, and while the toilet area has a door, there is no actual lock. But the rain head showerhead is definitely nice. The hotel staff were very also very helpful. If we ever visit Paris again, we will definitely stay here again!

I wouldn't otherwise have complained about the tiny room with no place to stove away the luggage, no privacy in the bathroom or poor cleaning. But people coming into to my room while I was sleeping, despite the do not disturb light turned on, definitely flipped the scale. My complaints were not only ignored, I was actually accused of disturbing other guests by protesting. Both the receptionist and the manager denied that anyone was in my room, but couldn't explain how the breakfast tray disappeared. On other occasions I woke up when people entered, but they would not leave without taking whatever they wanted to take.

It was a true week in hell and I felt terrorized. Do not go there if you want to sleep in or if you want anybody to listen to your concerns.

Room Tip: Stay away.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

We aknowledge receipt of your critic.
You did advise us on the day you leave that you would review badly about our hotel, since we tried to understand your disappointment regarding your stay, but no discussion with you was possible.

Indeed, we tried to explain you that the “do not disturb” function, after checking your door following your complaint, was never activated by your own.
Please be assured our room-service staff has no possibility to go inside a room if the red button is on (many of our hosts know about this function).
They also, of course, knock on the door before entering.
We checked your door because we felt surprised about this totally unusual situation for us, and we wanted to understand an eventual technical problem.

We also felt confused because you accused several members of our staff to go inside your room, even at the end of your stay where you claimed to have been disturbed in your bed, whereas you were in reality on the terrace.
We do not want to argue against you, but as you leave such a rude critic, we also want to explain our confusion about your reactions.
It may happen a guest do not like an hotel, but why (you make an allusion to it in your review), disturbing other guests based on their own complaints, and have inappropriate discussions with our staff about how you dislike Paris and France (which has nothing to deal with our hotel ).

We insist on the fact we tried to listen to you, but you left us no choice to discuss with you by speaking loud, and leave the hotel without allowing us to finish our sentence.

You may also dislike our rooms, but cleanliness is absolutely our priority , and the size of the room, for your information, is larger than the 4-star norms in France.

We are, indeed, sorry if our hotel , and apparently France in general, based upon your arguments to our staff, did not meet your needs and expectations.
We would have much preferred to make you feel home in our hotel with a professional and good service, which is hopefully what most of our guests think about the 7Eiffel.

Regards,
Guillaume Marchand,
Deputy hotel Manager

Very well situated nicely presented hotel Extremely friendly and helpful staff made our short stay a very good one indeed.
The room we stayed in wasn't the biggest but was very nicely decorated and had a good quality of fixtures and fittings. The bed was so comfortable it was almost easy to forget that we were in a hotel. It is without doubt the best hotel bed I have ever slept in my 20 years of global business travel. Roof terrace also worth noting. Sofas blankets and bar service. Awesome!
Eifel tower no more than 10 minute walk away and Rue St Dominic with loads of good cafe restaurants is just around the corner.
I would stay here again with no hesitation.

Went here with my wife during February 2012.. Stayed for 4 nits and absolutely loved the hotel... Would go back here without thinkin twice!!!

Pros:

1) Location - great location.. It was a block and a half away from the metro station.. So it's really convenient to go around Paris.. Also a short walk away from the grand palace and Eiffel tower... Couple of restaurants were a block or two away.. All in all a great (and safe) location

2) Breakfast - Ate breakfast in the room once and it was quite decent.. Slightly expensive, but what in Paris isnt expensive!!!

3) Room - its small.. But very well decorated... Felt extremely well kept and clean.. The bathroom is extremely open so this hotel is pretty much only for couples...some reviews mentioned water coming out of the shower, we had no such issues.. You have to be a little careful using the shower, but was no big deal... The rain shower was actually quite nice!!!

4) Upstairs Patio - they had a space upstairs guests could use to chill.. Very cute and nicely decorated.. Due to the cold my wife and me couldn't sit there for long, but I'm guessing in the summertime would be awesome!!

Cons
1) really can't think of many... Only thing is, being a small boutique hotel no cab driver in Paris knew of the location.. I had to address written down and then they would gps it.. But besides that no real issues..

2) open bathroom - takes some getting used to..

just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay - hotel was located in the excellent "7th Arr" , our 1st time staying in this part lovely part of paris and we were really impressed - 5 minute walk to metro with loads of restaurants on the doorstep. Room was smallish but excellent contempary fitments, beautifully clean, stayed on the 5th floor so the quirky roof terrace was like our own outside space....... and ...... a view of "La Tour" from our window!!! Staff were excellent, nothing too much trouble - would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for reviewing and taking the time to share your feedback after your stay at the 7 Eiffel.
It is a real pleasure to read you enjoyed your room and our most-appreciated rooftop terrace, close to your door.
Thank you also for your appreciative comments concerning our team.
Last but not least, we feel surprised you managed to have a view on "La Tour" from your window, as we do not normally can see it from our rooms, unless you are referring to the beautiful reproduction of the ground floor of the eiffel Tower which is visible on the rooftop terrace !

We look forward to welcoming you on your next vacation in Paris.

Best Regards,
Guillaume MARCHAND,
