“Great stay”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

This hotel is on the expensive side in the season (march-october), but if you visit in winter, it could meet even lower budget.
Most importantly, it is clean and located very next to the Eiffel tower. This helps for the romance, but not for the transport to the airport: there are metros close by, but in order to come to the airport, one needs to change twice (annoying) or walk 10-15 min (difficult with luggage).
There are quite many restaurants and bars to eat and drink, but the sightseeing points (other than the tower) are bit further away.
Breakfast is typically French: rather small, but tasty and nicely served. There is an all-day reception, nice and useful staff.
Quiet, elegant and stylish, with a touch of luxus.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was a pleasure to come home to every night after being out all day sightseeing. The front desk staff was great and helpful especially Renaud - who hooked us up with some great tour suggestions. They answered all my tourist questions - where is the nearest ATM? Could you call my shuttle and confirm my pick up tomorrow? Could you tell me where is the best place to catch the "hop on/hop off" tourist bus? Where is the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal? - Renaud not only looked it up, but he printed up an information sheet, told us the nearest Metro stops and circled them on the map. Every single staff member was straightforward and awesome. Plenty of great places to eat around the hotel - thanks TripAdvisor for helping us find them - but the express breakfast they had for 10 Euro was great for when tours started super early in the morning. WiFi in hotel was strong enough in the hotel - you shouldn't be on the Internet too much in Paris. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Beds and pillows were great. Fragonard toiletries and in-room safe were good - hair dryer was powerful. Quiet at night. Can't say enough about this finely decorated, boutique and total gem of a hotel near the Eiffel Tower.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic location close to all the sights.
Extremely clean and comfortable. Yes... The rooms are small but the bed was the most comfortable ever and they are equipped with everything you need. Spotlessly clean. Linen and towels changed every day. Toiletries replaced daily. The privacy issue in the bathroom may be a problem for some but not us. Our room faced the street on the first floor but was extremely quiet and fantastically dark for quality sleeping due to the blackout curtains.
Umbrellas in the lobby were a thoughtful addition.
The staff are helpful and extremely pleasant.
Didn't use any of the hotels facilities or eat there at all as breakfast is expensive and to be Honest, there are just too many patisseries and tempting boulangeries in the area.
Held our luggage after check out until the evening when we were leaving.
Would definitely recommend. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Loved the modern decor, cleanliness, price & location of this hotel. Only problem we had was with one of the front desk personal... the shorter bald man was always rude & didn't really care about accommodating us. They were in the process of remodeling their patio when we were there, which unfortunately we were put in the room right under/next to the construction. We asked to be moved to another room, but they refused... so we woke up at 6am every morning to a jackhammer. Future travelers can look on the bright side though... You'll have a nice new patio to enjoy!

Room Tip: Always ask about hotel and/or city construction that may be going on

Nice quiet and very fine hotel, with very nice small rooms well equiped. Very good service and nice and helpful staff. We had hoped that the Wi-Fi was a Little quicker, but that was the only remark we had. We close to verything, but also quite street.

Room Tip: Nice quiet hotel, with good service and good rooms

After spending 18 days in Croatia with family, before returning to Canada a solo stop in Paris for 3 nights was the BEST ending of a GREAT vacation. The staff were wonderful, greeting me every time I entered the lobby also gave great advice regarding transportation around Paris. Even on the day I was about to leave, they offered me a free umbrella. The metro and taxi stand a short distance one way and many restaurants and a great little supermarket the other direction. LOVED my room on the 4th floor (405) facing the back of the hotel, no complaints, I slept well.
-turn left at Saint Dominique to get to the Eiffel Tower (10 min walk)
-closest metro station/taxi stand to the hotel is La Tour Maubourg
-2 day hop on/off tour bus $35 euros
-left luggage at CDG airport while in Paris (large for 3 days $35 euros)
-supermarket left at Saint Dominique
Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: 4th floor was nice and quiet A/C worked great Free WiFi

Didn't like the lack of privacy by means of a see thru curtain for the bathroom, no privacy for 2 solo travellers! Fridge way too small. Didn't like that you were not allowed to take yr own food/drink onto the rooftop lounge area, not like there was a bar u could sit at! Fake grass made it slippery underfoot hence a fall on the stairs on way back to room! Informed staff -"oh we will look into it"" maybe some sort of token free breakfast for the pain and bruises!! Not to mention pain for next three days! Should have had a sign when you left the grass that stairs would be slippery !! Room kept very clean, but had to wonder why on the last clean all our things were moved to other spots in the room hmmmm! New cleaning lady from the rest of the week(I DON'T LIKE MY STUFF BEING MOVED ABOUT) But yes clean convenient & close walking to tourist spot! Some reception staff pleasing others gave us strange looks maybe we didn't spend enough extras there! Great block out curtains slept late everyday & bed very very comfortable! Will consider this hotel again but definitely a twin for 2 solos next time!!!
