The rooms are quiet, the bed is comfy and the staff is helpful. 10 minutes from the louvre, Notre Dame and Champs Elysses. Excellent breakfast. Good value considering the comfort and location. We will stay again if we come back to Paris.

We struggled to find a place for our stay in Paris. Too many options and too expensive. We selected this place and were ver happy with our choice. This hotle has a central location for walking, metro as well as rer. There also also many good restaurants around.
We got two lovely rooms which were connected (as we requested) in a rather simple but smart way. To round thing's off, staff were very helpful both in english as in tolerating my basic french.
We would go again any time.

We stayed at the Hotel Horset for 3 nights in June 2013.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring all the big name landmarks in Paris as well and being close by to the main shopping and restaurant strips. Another bonus is the proximity to the Roissybus stop which is only a few minutes down the road.

The hotel is nice with moderate sized, nicely appointed rooms, helpful staff and a nice complimentary breakfast (would have liked a way to warm the pastries though).

All in all a very solid hotel for a stay in Paris.

Yes, it's the atmospheric hotel! Comfortable and stylish, with local charm. The rooms are small, but it does not spoil the whole picture. The room has everything you need - a safe (albeit it is old-fashioned and only closes on a credit card), mini-bar, air conditioning, shower amenities are quite good. The courteous staff at the reception is multilingual. Room cleaning is timely performed.
It's located on a quiet, peaceful street in the heart of the city. In walking distance of Grand Opera and several subway stations.
The only cons is a small breakfast room on the ground floor. It gets crowded easily. Therefore, many have breakfast in the next room - in the lobby bar.
The dinner menu in the lobby bar is quite expensive. However, this problem is easily solved by going to the moderate enough sushi restaurant which is located directly opposite the hotel.

Spent 5 nights at this lovely little hotel which was perfectly located between Opera House and Louvre right in the heart of excellent shopping district (which unfortunately didn't have time to explore fully!). Room was very nice and quite roomy for Paris. Lovely bathroom with great separate shower and bath. Breakfast was very nice. Staff very helpful. Couldn't really fault anything.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 104

I spent 2 nights at the hotel. I had a great room overlooking the side street. I couldn't ask for a better room. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, and a desk for working. It was nice to have the window open in the evening and hear the sounds the cafes, and with the window closed it was quiet.
The breakfast, which was included, was perfect. Fresh juice, coffee, croissants, yogurt and more.
This is my new favorite hotel in Paris. I will definitely stay here on my next trip.

Room Tip: Room 206 was large with great street views.

We enjoyed our stay at L'Horset. Room 108 was of reasonable size except for the tiny WC, was well appointed and the mattress on the king size bed incredibly comfortable. Staff were helpful, and the breakfast (continental) was adequate with the usual fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal, rolls and pastries etc. The hotel offers free fast wifi which is a big plus. Most important is its location, a couple of minutes walk from the Opera and 10 minutes walk from the Louvre. Some good restaurants in the area...we ate at Le Petit Cobert, a few minutes away and had a good meal at reasonable prices. Next time we will ask for a room with a view (from other reviews it appears the '08' rooms abut the same wall), though the back rooms have advantage of being very quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the street, and up a few floors.
