Hotel Regent's Garden

Regen't Garden is located a short walking distance from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. The building is a historic mansion, stylishly decorated in a successful fusion of the old and the modern. It's fairly small, but sweet, cozy and comfortable for a short city visit. The service in most cases was great: friendly, accomodating, real pleasure. The only weak link was one unbelievably inefficient waitress who couldn't cope with very few people at breakfast. At 8:45 there was no scrambled eggs, no juice, the tables remained uncleared... And yet , another day, another server (a dark skinned gentleman with impeccable manners) did everything right.
The hotel has a charming little garden in the back where one can be served breakfast or just relax (if the staff made sure the loungers were wiped from the morning dew, it 'd be even more fantastic:-). Last, but certainly not the least of the hotel's benefits is a tiny, private parking lot that doesn't offer too many spots, but is certainly very convenient.
Overall, great little hotel with loads of charm in an unbeatable location.

I have visited Paris many times but have not stay anywhere as welcoming. We went for a weekend and largely thanks to our stay here wished it was longer. The hotel has a lovely garden which is great for families, is not too far from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elyses and is tastefully decorated but its greatest asset is the staff, who were wonderful and very patient with my 21 month old daughter.

For any families it is a great location being only a short distance from Le Jardin Acclimatation (http://www.jardindacclimatation.fr/) which is an amazing place to take young kids. Thanks again to the staff telling us about it.

When we next return to Paris we will return here and would recommend anyone to do the same especially if you are a young family

I now have a very small apartment in Paris. That is the overall feeling. The location both remarkable and out of the way. You can visit a bakery and a Carrefour(grocery store) with the locals, yet it is a fair walk to the Metro. Both of these make the location the top benefit with Regent's. The staff is incredibly friendly and the hotel is very clean. As far as the rooms, well, you are in Paris. My room was small enough that I had to lift my standard size bag OVER the bed to get it in the room. Even a young couple in love would find my standard room "cosy". Overall, the hotel is well worth the price and I would give it 5 stars if I just had a bit more space.

Awesome breakfast and service! It was very clean and very Parisian. We just loved it. Hotel even provided umbrellas for unpredictable summer rainy days in Paris. It is located in a lovely district, about 10 minutes from Arc de Triomphe, another 10 from Parc Monceau, close to Montmartre and the inner city attractions. About 10 -15 minutes walk from the nearest train station.

The staff were very very helpful and patient with all our queries. Definitely recommendable.

My Husband and I and two teenage daughters stayed here for 3 nights, we had two rooms both of which were furnished to a vey high standard with very nice shower rooms. Our bedroom, a double was a bit small, but perfectly formed. The breakfasts were really good we particuary enjoyed the freshly squeezed juice. The service was excellent, the staff were helpful, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. We would say it was very good value for money for Paris.

My wife really wanted to stay here because of the history and the descripton of the garden. On arrival the room looks good and the bathroom good too but.....the toilet is at the other side of the bed and you need to walk round the bed and past the wardrobes and storage space to wash your hands. The mini bar only had two or three complementary soft drinks in it, Coke, lemonade and a sparkling water plus the normal bottled water all rooms now have. I did not think it was really worth paying over £500 for two nights. The staff were good, the room clean, breakfast was OK but for that sort of money I expected a lot more. I have paid a lot less for better quality in Paris on previous visits. The garden was really good, well laid out with lots of greenery and shady quiet areas with tables and chairs. Disappointing overall and will not return. Not even for half the price!
