We recently stayed at this hotel for the Paris portion of our honeymoon. The location was amazing. We could walk to many of the areas in Paris and the metro was very close so it was extremely easy to navigate around Paris. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially we didn't speak French. The rooms were small but updated and clean. We could not have picked better overall. If you are looking for a reasonably priced boutique hotel, this was perfect!

I have visited Paris every year on my own, and sometimes I do not feel comfortable in the hotels I stay in. But this one was lovely, a room high up looking over Paris, with the Eiffal tower in the distance. The room was clean, and very pleasant. Near to shops and the river, yet down a peaceful road. I would recommend this to anyone and would certainly consider it again as a good area.

Hotel Britanique lived up to all of our expectations. This was a 4 day layover on our way back from Africa to the States and also over our anniversarry. When we arrived we were given the key to the room and we went upstairs to the room. On the desk in the room was a complimentary bowl of fresh fruit and a card wishing us a happy anniversary. The room was a very good size and we along with our three suitcases were very comfortable. The bathroom was also a nice size with a one person shower. The staff spoke very good english and provided numerous recommendations for restaurants and also directions. When we were leaving the person at the front desk wanted to make sure we went to the easiest metro stop and walked outside with us to make sure we went the right direction and pointed out the metro stop. The hotel is close enough to walk to the Louvre and Notre Dam. My wife and I like to walk so we walked for hours every day and really enjoyed the area around the hotel. We will definetly stay here again the next time we are in Paris.

I would/have recommend this hotel to first time travelers to Paris for many reasons. The first being location. This hotel is perfectly situated within the city. One of the main metro stations, Châtelet is a two-minute walk from the hotel; making it easy to move about the city, and get to-and-from the airport. The River Seine is a short stroll away, providing you with landmarks such as Notre Dame, and Sainte-Chapelle in minutes. Other advantages to this hotel: fairly priced, spacious bathrooms, English speaking staff, and quite street.

We stayed seven nights at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris, walking distance to a lot of the attractions, access to many Metro lines to get you anywhere in Paris, access to many great restaurants nearby.

Our only complaint was that the room was a bit small, we knew to expect small rooms and this was what we got, we managed OK and we were not in our room much anyway, so it wasn't too bad. The bed was very comfortable the little balcony with a table and two chairs was a great touch and added to the charm.

The breakfast option available is great, we only used it a few times as we had some early starts but if you would like a good hearty breakfast to get your day off to a good start for walking and seeing what Paris has to offer then fork out the €14 per person, we also tried a few local cafes for breakfast and the value for money cannot be beat.

The free Wi-Fi was also very much appreciated and assisted in being able to do some last minute research, access emails and show off some photos of our trip to family and friends. The service was very reliable. The only issue is having to log on when you return to the hotel as it logs you out when you don't use it for a short period of time.

We also took advantage of both the romance and birthday packages on offer which was a great treat for my partner who was celebrating a birthday and also for our first time in Paris and this hotel just added to the charm and made the stay that much more enjoyable.

It was a shame that we didn't have perfect weather for our trip as it was cold, windy and rainy on most days during our stay which you cannot do anything about so we just made the most of the time we had. We did have a few days of nice weather in between which was appreciated.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lounge area next to the reception area which seems really cosy and a great place to relax, we didn't take advantage of it as we were on the go pretty much the whole time.

Room Tip: We booked a standard KING room and were on level 5
