“Great location Good rooms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2013

Our room was quiet, a reasonable size for Paris. The hotel is in a fantastic area just near Chatelet. Stay here if you want to enjoy Paris. Nothing much more to say, really. Just trying to make up the 200 characters

This is a lovely small hotel, about a 10-15 minute walk from the Louvre. Convenient Metro stop across from the hotel allows you to get all over Paris. The rooms are small, but the bathroom was a good size in comparison. Ours had a very small shower which would have been challenging for a large person. Good WIFI and a nice buffet breakfast. The best thing about the hotel was the friendliness of every staff member. I arrived after an overnight flight and was resting in the lounge area waiting for my room to be ready. Although breakfast was over, they offered to bring me coffee and my room was ready in about 15 minutes. Directions were perfect, as was the recommendation for lunch around the corner. This is a gem.

Room Tip: Make sure you inquire about accommodations for more than one person if you are not solo or a couple

We returned to Hotel Brittanique after being away for 2 years. It still has a lovely charm, welcoming staff, and great attention and care to detail. The rooms are well kept and the lounge is a lovely place to relax away from the chill winter winds. Would recommend staying here to anyone.

This hotel is situated in central Paris near the louvre, theatres and the les halles complex. The building is beautiful and full of character. Clean with plenty of thoughtful details. Much cheaper than others in the area I guess because there is no restaurant or bar and the rooms are small. The rooms are very well laid out but compact. If you are over 6 foot you might struggle but otherwise a great deal.

Receptionist all spoke great English and were able to offer advice on getting out and about.

If arriving on the RER from charles de gaul airport get out and walk from chatelet les halles it is a short walk and the streets feel safer. Breakfast was extra about 3x price of a coffee so not madly expensive but if you buy out then turn right out of the hotel and right again for a lovely cafe for breakfast 3 mins walk away.
Reasonable bathroom product, nice bath robe, tiny minibar and rubbish tea coffee but this is France you should go out for coffee!

I would definitely recommend it to anyone except the very tall.

This hotel was recommended and it did not disappoint! A boutique hotel with warmth, service and all the trimmings you'd expect when in Paris. Great location without feeling like you're surrounded by tourists. Every morning waking up and looking out onto the Avenue just brimmed with Parisienne atmosphere. Not the largest rooms, however good sizes for Europe and as I say boutique in every way.

On a short trip through Paris, we stayed 5 nights at Hotel Brittannique, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the perfect place to rest whilst in Paris. A few blocks away from the Louvre, one block back from the Seine, HB is located within easy walking distance of everything you will want to see in Paris. The staff were very friendly, helpful and kind, the rooms are beautifully decorated, exquisitely French, warm and inviting.
If you can, stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Philip + Kellie.

I understand that writing the truth means that more guests will come to this lovely hotel, but to be fair to staff - I need to say truth. This hotel is so nice and located in great place from where you can easily reach Metro and RER, walk along Seine river any time and in 10 minutes walk to admire Notre Dam de Paris. Rear combination. If to add great staff, wonderful breakfast, nice amenities - it is difficult to find something better for reasonable price. You can face some problems from noise under your windows watching the street but not in autumn and winter time. This can happen to guests of most Paris hotels and I know this for sure as tried several of them before. But all other positive features compensate this 20 minutes disadvantage. The size of room and arrangement of bathroom is fairly good (some single rooms not very big, but big enough to feel comfortable). In Paris you can try many hotels with rooms in which it will be a big problem to find the place for suitcase ...
So - general summary - excellent. Wish this nice hotel to keep this high level of service for many coming years!
