“Great moules frites”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 December 2013

Don't be put off by the outside...it's definitely worth entering. We had the moules frites with white wine. The food was really good and great value considering its location. The service was also very good. We would recommend.

“A tad expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2013

An overnight business trip to Paris. Whilst having a wee walk around from the Hotel, stopped at this streetside bistro for a drink. They pride themselves on their wine and beer selections and certainly have an extensive list. A tad expensive for their non-French beers but it is Paris. Majority of the tables were full with the early dinner crowd tucking into what looked to be decent sized portions of food. All seemed to be enjoying their meals. The Grimbergen Triple Blonde came in its own glass, a tad expensive at 7e for the usual 330cl bottle. A pleasant place to watch Parisian life go by.

“Wonderful choice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2013

I was adviced to go here and it was wonderful. The food and the attention at a reasonable price. I ordered a plate with different kinds of meat. Very good.

“Extensive Beer choice and location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2013

I came upon Clichy's Tavern while searching for a place to enjoy some german beer whilst in town for a night. A buddy of mine and I stopped in after dinner nearby to have a round.

Belgium is best represented as there is an extensive (okay I'm not Belgian beer expert) of their beers. I enjoyed an Ayinger Brau Weisebier and my buddy a Dunkel. The German beer collection was decent, but not as diverse as the Belgium menu which stands to reason in Paris.

I enjoyed our brief time there and I would have stayed longer and had a few more rounds but time was fleeting. I can't comment on their menu other than to say, it looked quite "standard" fare and a burger was around $14E or so.

The bar is easy to locate when arriving at Place de Clichy Metro stop.
