“Just a room.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

Close to everything and a good base to stay for this area, but there is better value. The rooms are ok but no real style but hey you are not in Paris to enjoy a hotel room, so for a bed its great. Close to metro, Notre Dame etc...

The hotel is quiet, clean, and, most importantly, in a perfect location for walking to major sites and just strolling in general. Standard rooms are small (as expected), but nicely decorated with big bathrooms (and good water pressure- this was shocking given, you know, European hotels). Very little natural light in the courtyard rooms, in case that bothers you, but the lights in the room were great. Staff was helpful and the area is great. There is a boulangerie across the street with great pastries and good coffee for breakfast and tons of good restaurants in the area. There is a major high-end shopping street (St Germain) just to the south with some of the most famous (and now touristy) cafes in Paris.

This hotel is located in a lively area of St. Germain. We had a room in the front of the hotel and you could hear the street musicians (and other noise) ut we quickly got used to it and enjoyed it. The room was small but well organized with storage space over the bed. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay of about 2 weeks. They serve a buffet breakfast and you can ask for eggs cooked the way you want them as they do not put them out on the table.

This hotel lived up to my expectations of Best Westerns in Europe. I definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: Front of hotel can be noisy. Street deliveries and garbage trucks start early in the AM.

The hotel was great - looks just like the pictures, and very conveniently located in St Germain. Walking distance to the Louvre, Luxembourg gardens... We even walked to the Eiffel Tower. There is a metro station just a couple minutes walk from the hotel, and lots of great restaurants nearby. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, but you can also try the Eric Kaiser bakery directly across the road. We stayed on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard and it was very quiet - we did not hear the street at all. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they organized us a very affordable shuttle to and from the airport. They can also help get tickets to any of the tourist attractions you want to see and avoid the long queues. We stayed at the hotel with our baby and although the rooms are a little small, he really enjoyed the space and the crib was provided free of charge. The hotel also provides free wifi. We will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the courtyard on the higher floors are really quiet and peaceful. Also, the Eric Ka...

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in June 2014 and for one night in July 2014. We love the Left Bank area and booked the Best Western based on the reviews on Trip Advisor; and they didn't let us down!

The hotel is central to everything - one minute walk to a gorgeous strip of restaurants and lovely Parisian shops, five minutes walk to the Metro stations, the Seine River and the Luxembourg Gardens. We enjoyed walking to the Lourve and Notre Dame and despite how close the hotel was to everything, we hardly heard a sound at night.

For our first stay, we booked a triple room. Paris rooms are always small so the extra space felt luxurious! Upon our return, we booked a standard room and it was gorgeous (but of a typical Paris size). The rooms are clean, beautifully furnished and have comfortable beds.

We assessed the breakfast but the price didn't seem worth it. Instead, we walked down to the strip of cafes each morning and paid 8 euro for a hot breakfast (omelette, coffee of your choice and fresh orange juice - there were also cheaper options of croissants, muffins etc).

For those who enjoy fitness, the hotel is perfectly located to go for a run / walk around the Luxembourg Gardens (approximately a 2km+ track around the outside of the gardens) or head down to the Seine for a run along the river.

The front desk staff were helpful when approached but didn't really go out of their way to make you feel like a valued guest. It didn't matter though - with the Left Bank at your door step, we quickly forgot about this.

The only other comment worth noting - we booked a transfer through the hotel upon arrival the first time and it was quite expensive (85 euro cash to the driver - in addition, he drove like a Formula 1 racer and was did not attempt to engage with us once). Upon return, we booked a transfer separately through Sun Transfers and it was much cheaper (60 Euro) and the driver was lovely and professional.

Don't hesitate to book this gorgeous little gem in the Left Bank - the location alone and the classically beautiful rooms are worth it.

Room Tip: Book the triple room - it's definitely worth the extra space!

We had never been to Paris before but we found this hotel on the internet and I have to say
it was great. Very clean, great location close to the Metro station and a lovely part of Paris.
The staff were very helpful with our bag storage as we arrived early. We would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The air conditioning was a welcome relief too after a hot
Paris afternoon. The Buffet style breakfast was a good value too.

This hotel is an amazing value. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff went beyond the usual. I had left my cell phone in a taxi and they managed to call the taxi company and get the driver to return it to the hotel. For that, I am deeply grateful. And the desk manager did it with understanding...never appearing put out at all.
We adore the Left Bank, and the hotel is located right in the middle of everything. We really like this hotel and will stay here again.
