This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Hotel Albe which really says it all as we keep returning!!
A professionally run hotel with friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English. A good choice at breakfast which is a buffet but with staff on hand to help.Ideal location for exploring Paris, also a good choice of restaurants within walking distance if you don't fell like going far in the evening. Highly recommended - exceptional value for money.

We were looking for a small hotel in Paris where we could experience walking out of our door and stepping into a Cafe' or Bakery. Our concerns were a small hotel not providing the level of service that we are used too in larger four and five star hotels.
Well I am glad to report that we found exactly whet we were looking for, What a great hotel and just a fabulous location (Bakery in the same building and cafes up and down the streets of St. Michel). The hotel was small enough to be quaint and comfortable but the cleanliness, style and service came through up to the standards of any large four star chain. Also the RER and Metro are just steps away.
We would highly recommend the Albe hotel for any stay in Paris.

Room Tip: We read reports of noise in the streets at night, Yes there is some noise (certainly adds to the cha...

We enjoyed staying the night at the Hotel Albe. I looked at all the rave reviews and we were very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend it to others. Our room was super quiet even though on the 2nd floor facing the street, the beds were perfect, not too soft and not rock hard either. The bathroom was tiny but OK for just 1 night. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful and helped us find a very nice place for dinner away from the tourist traps. We slept very, very well and awoke refreshed and very much enjoyed the buffet breakfast with coffee, croissants with jam etc. etc. Friendly service in a nice breakfast room. Would definitely return!

Room Tip: We asked for a room as far up as possible (I think there are 6 floors) because we wanted a view and...

Fantastic location, thoughtful, informative, and helpful staff. AC worked fine on a day that temperature hit 33 in Paris. Nice breakfast. Definitely would stay at this hotel when inParis in the future.

The positive reviews were spot on. In addition the English-speaking desk staff was very helpful and friendly, Bakery next to hotel was convenient for Parisian breakfast, sandwich to take for lunch, and delicious sweets and snacks.

Room Tip: We were on the fourth floor and were not bothered by evening street noises.

We had an early RER to catch to CDG, but wanted to spend our last night in Paris. The walk from this hotel to the elevator that takes you to the platform is less than one minute, and the RER is direct to CDG. We didn't eat in the area because it is very, very touristy with lots of Greek, Moroccan, and mainstream restaurants, that might be very nice, but we chose to walk to find something else. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, close to the Seine, nice size rooms by French standards, wonderful and friendly staff, comfortable and clean!

Very friendly, accommodating staff. The location is in the heart of the Latin Quarter, almost on top of the most wonderful creperie and bread and pastry shop and just steps away from a metro station that will take you directly to the train stations. If you need a taxi, just step outside the door, take about 20 steps around the corner and there are always about 10 lined up. I am a middle aged woman, traveling alone, and I have stayed all over Paris. This location is the best as it is in the middle of everything.
Though the hotel is very clean, new carpeting, new moulding, and paint in the rooms seem to be small improvements that could be made to make this place almost perfect. Strange that these things are done, as the staff bends over backward for their guests and the place is spotless.
