“Nice, but busy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2013

Nice, but busy and a little stressy. Make sure you know what you want before you join the queue at lunchtime.

“A special treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2012

We went to Gosselin on the recommendation of an American friend. It was well worth the visit. Yes, the products are a bit pricey and more of a special treat than an everyday snack, but we found the quality superb and the choices irresistable. The staff were very pleasant despite long queues - mind you we speak French and can't say how other customers might manage. Try it yourself.
#1 recommendation: pistachio macaroons.

Really enjoyed their almond croissants and their raspberry tarts. Beautifully presented and packaged.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2012

This patisserie is about two blocks away from the Musee d'Orsay and it was a perfect light lunch and after museum snack place. The croissants were flaky and delicious, as were the strawberry tart and lemon tart. It tends to get busy inside the bakery, so its helpful if you know what you want to order before you start ordering. Otherwise, they may be a bit snippy with you!

“Best desserts in Paris”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2012

Gosselin was a cute little shop tucked away on a side street and we each ordered a quiche and a dessert. I ordered a spinach and cheese quiche. The bitter flavor of the spinach paired perfectly with the sharpness of the cheese and the crust's flaky and crunchy texture. Then came dessert! I ordered a mille feuilles pistache framboises. It was basically a layer of flaky crunchy pastry covered in powdered sugar, a pistachio mousse that was the perfect balance of airy and rich, fresh raspberries, another layer of pastry, a layer of some type of raspberry preserves, and another layer of pastry. It was incredible! I may or may not have licked the plate at the end....READ THE FULL REVIEW AT http://godsavethefood.blogspot.com/2011/10/city-of-lights.html
