The location is probably the key thing for us about the hotel. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the Odéon Metro station and in a buzzy area so plenty of places to go out to on your doorstep.
The room was a little smaller than we would have hoped but then this is central Paris and we weren't paying top dollar. The decoration was nice, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. The other thing is that the hotel is pretty quiet. We were on the back so the room was a little larger but the view was an internal courtyard/building site so probably helped the lack of noise but from what we saw and heard the road at the front was pretty quiet so in hindsight would have gone for one on the front for a better view.
The breakfast was typical continental so nothing too grand but was decent enough.
Overall a decent hotel.
