My friend and I stayed here in mid January 2012 and we got a really good rate online. The location was great, there were shops and restaurants a stone's throw away. Lots of local boutiques as well in the small streets, great for the sales that were on when we were there. Also handy to have close by was Carrefour Express for a cheap do it yourself meal when you don't want to eat out.

The room itself is small but we had no problems as we weren't in the room all day, we came back from a long day out and got into bed when we got back to the room. Most important thing was the room was very clean and the bathroom too. The staff were courteous and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here in January 2012 for 4 nights. Super location is just off the Boulevard Saint-Germain, just a minute down the street from the Odeon Metro stop and all the shops and restaurants on the Boulevard. Rooms were very small, and the building old (but does have a small lift in addition to a beautiful wood staircase), but the bathrooms were a nice size - closer to what we are used to at home - and up-to-date. The beds are not the greatest, but everything was very clean and quiet. A very friendly and helpful staff was a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: There is activity around the hotel so if you are sensitive to noise ask for a room on a higher floor...

This is an excellent hotel in a really superb location in the heart of Paris. The rooms are warm and spotlessly clean. I have stayed in a number of hotels in the same area and this is definitely the best.

5 stars service at a 3 stars hotel. I've spent a good amount of time researching for a mid-range hotel in Paris. Our goal is to find the best location that we have the option not to take metro. We stayed for 6 nights during last week of December. We arrived at 11AM. and was greeted with a warm welcome and was able to check in immediately. Louis upgraded us to a corner room no.32. The room was equipped with basic essentials. Corner room with street views and large windows instantly infused us with joy. The kettle was a plus for us. Although limited space was enough for 2. The clean, minimal, and charming decor was delightful. We would like to thank Louis, Thomas, night shift gentleman (apologize for not knowing your name) and Carla for your SUPERB services!!! You made our stay more enjoyable than many 5 stars hotels. Once again, thanks for accommodating us and made every detail so perfect!

Less perfect perspectives...
1. Mattress and pillows could've been more plush.
2. Down pillows and comforter might be a good future addition?
3. Any chance for higher thread counts?
4. Some noise from street bars, but we have a great view and natural light

Location
1. Located in Saint Germain and border Quartier Latin.
2. 3 - 5 Minutes walk to Odéon metro
3. Walking distance to Le bon Marche
4. A convenient store is right around the corner
5. Bars and restaurant within a few steps
6. A few blocks away from Seine

We couldn't ask for more perfect stay!

Room Tip: Corner room has the optimal views. Might have noise issues if you're a light sleeper.

The hotel is very clean and with enough space to use comparing to other hotels in Paris. The staff personal handled us very well and generally the atmosphere is very warm and nice.
The breakfast is great. Sure, you can get other great breakfasts in Paris at mostly the same price but this is very convenient way to start the day.
I fully recommend.
I even added a link to it on trip advisor on my personal bookmarks page: http://www.linkopa.com/em/traveling

Enjoy your stay,

for a 3 star hotel, i couldn't ask for more.
first, was its great location literally minutes away from St. Sulpice Church,
near the Latin Quartier and along St. Germain des Pres, where Les deux magots, Cafe de FLore are located, walk straight and there's the Carrefour and the Odeon Metro.
minutes away from Jardin de Luxembourg, Musee de CLuny, St. Severin Church and if you like books, there's just ton of bookshops to choose from, one of my faves is Gibert et Joseph.
The area seems to be safe at night, and the place inviting.
It's a quaint, little cozy hotel tuck inside the rue of St. Sulpice,
but look out though, the room is really small and a bit dated.
It's not modern with an old chic feel to it, but i think the Parisian charm is definitely there.
We ask for a street view and we got it facing the Marco Polo resto.
at night, the street can be a bit noisy but when you're tired, i think you wouldn't notice it.
A lesser note though was, it has poor wi-fi service, constantly have to battle with the connection, and the a/c isn't working as it;s supposed to be, the evening receptionist said it works like a heater during the winter months?! anyways, we just have to open our window or else inhale the same oxygen back and forth.
but their service was efficient and every time we come in and out of the elevator, they would say Bonjour! ^-^
In fact, when we requested for a Shuttle service on the way to the airport, they were helpful about it and arranged it in time.
something which the other hotels don't offer when I first ask.
overall, the stay was good and memorable.
a bit expensive but nothing comes cheap when you're in Paris right? ^0^

Room Tip: ask for higher floor, facing the street if you want a view.
