“Third time lovely”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

I stayed here recently with my teenage daughter. It's my third visit to this hotel, and that speaks volumes. It's a small hotel, but full of character. The area is extremely convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff, without exception, are so pleasant and helpful, and more than happy to speak English.

Whilst the location is ideally placed, the cost at nearly 200 euros per night for a room the size of a family car and a bathroom with a half bath, and view onto the roof of the church, does not represent best value.

We just came back from a 1 week stay, we were a family of 4 (kids are 10 and 12) and stayed in room 51, It was a perfect size, the kids had their own beds and we had space to move around. We ordered 3 breakfasts for the 4 of us and still had food left over - we found that eating in the room was a really relaxing way to begin the day. The room faced the courtyard so no view, but VERY quiet - we left the window open at night for fresh air and there was no noise at all. The staff were friendly, the location was perfect for seeing the Louvre and the metro was just a minute away. The only down side was a limited choice for restaurants in the immediate area, if walking around markets is your focus this isn't the right place. But a short metro ride or a walk across the Seine takes you to the left bank and more options.

Room Tip: room 51 is a very nicely laid out for families, very quiet for sleeping.

This hotel is extremely well placed and some of the rooms have a fab view. Ours (no 35) overlooked the church but we could also see the side of the Louvre. Room was small but what do you expect from a city centre hotel? It was well appointed and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Will return ourselves in the not too distant future. We went out for breakfast so can't comment on their offering but will try next time. The hotel is on a quiet street despite being so close to most sites.

It all boiled down to the experience with the man in the reception area. He was very rude.

Their lobby is small but quaint. The size of the hotel room for 3 was spacious enough.

Very close to everything. Price per night 263 euro per night. The elevator is so small and when the chambermaid cleans the room, you have to wait for your turn to use the elevator.

So well located we sepnd 4 days in Paris seeing all the sights without taking a bus or metro. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but perefectly well appointed. Breakfast was excellent - too big if anything, and very competitively priced against local cafes (of which there are plenty to choose from). However we are glad we only had breakfast in the hotel once as it is served in the Room only so lacks a relaxing ambience !

This is a small hotel, but it was excellent and located in the perfect place to tour around Paris. They were renovating when we were there so there was a little scaffolding inside and they were painting, but they put it up and took it down during the busier times of day so as not to inconvenience guests too much. We stayed in one of the suites (62), which was fabulous, had a nice little sitting balcony (although the balcony view isn't superb it was nice to sit outside and share a glass of wine). The bar downstairs was also great to relax in after a long day walking around the city and even the in-house dog came and sat by us at the bar. About 2 minutes walk from the Louvre and only a few more than that to Notre-Dame made photographing Paris at night simple as well since we had a nice central base. Great restaurants nearby and all in all, a highly recommended hotel, not just for its location, but for its charm and comfort.

Room Tip: Regular rooms are a bit small, go with one of the suites if you want more room.
