“Tasty food accompanied by a warm welcome in the heart of Paris”
Reviewed 4 January 2013

Four of us went to Paris for only a couple of nights, and upon arrival started wandering around the streets of Montmartre looking for some food. Two of us will eat anything, but the other two included a vegetarian and an 18 year old lad with a restricted palate. We stumbled upon this place (around 8pm) but unfortunately they had no tables free, however told us to come back in 30 minutes. We returned and to our delight they had reserved a table for us.

The wine we ordered was a reasonable 21Euro, and went down a treat with the food, which included vegetable noodles, sizzling prawn hot pot, and delicious duck.

The waiters were very friendly and their spoken English was good.

All four of us would highly recommend this joint to any hungry souls out there who want a tasty meal in Paris.

“Great Vietnam food in Paris”
Reviewed 4 June 2012

Dan Bau is an excellent restaurant in the picturesque part of Montmartre. The food is outstanding and the prices very reasonable. When we arrived in the restaurant it was already late and almost no free chart , the staff nevertheless found a solution to make us feel comfortable. The food choice is pretty big, and although not flashy into your face restaurant, it’s worth finding it (in the strret full of restaurants). We highly recommend this place.

“An incredible surprise”
Reviewed 14 November 2011

Looking for a restaurant we pased by and were attrackted by the perfect ambiance which was created in this small vietnamisch restaurant. And our choise could not have been beter. The entrees nems ( springrolls) and pompelmous salade absolute deligeous. As main platee we had the porck in caramel sauce also superb. As dessert we had te, after being shown how to do the tea ritual , we enjoyed a lovely restaurant with a relaxed ambiance. The owner really made something special outoff everything dish. We were impressed by what we ate, but we were also impressed what was served at the tables next to us. The music ,an oriental relaxed rithme aswell as the decoration made the evening just perfect. And the price was a laugh only 45 euros!!!! Including drinks. We don't understand that this restaurant only has 1 reacción.
