“4 Nights in Paris”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013 via mobile

Good clean hotel in a great side road location ,quiet , and with the Pierre metro 5 minutes a way.
Stayed in a superior room, which by Paris standards was of a reasonable size. The bed and bedding were comfortable and the decor in keeping with the Paris scene.

Fast check in by friendly staff all who spoke good English and provided good route directions when asked.

Breakfast was sufficient and of appropriate quality in a well laid out and bright room.

The Hotel is close to the local cafés and bars . It is also close to a large supermarket.

The hotel is in the process of being redecorated, refurbished by new owners and I would certainly use this hotel again.

This was our 2nd visit.

Travelling with a friend and our 2 daughters we purposely booked the 'adjoining family room' with a double and a twin bedded room with connecting door - this was apparently 'The magic of Hotel Le Pierre' . When we arrived we were told the room was not ready - we were then told it was not available as the previous occupants and decided not to leave! We were then told there had been a flood - we are still not sure if this room option actually exists even though it is on the website. Although we were eventually offered free breakfast (which we did not want - part of our trip experience was to breakfast in Paris Cafes) or relocation to a sister hotel (which unfortunately the receptionist was unable to find on the internet) we did not want to waste our 24 hours in Paris searching for a new hotel so we decided to stay. Although the rooms we were eventually given were supposedly 'superior' they were in fact very average, quite noisy with very uncomfortable pillows that were like rocks. The bathroom was at least clean if a bit mouldy around the edges and the shower was hot. When my friend requested a cup of tea she was given a tea bag but no kettle. She asked for a kettle and was given a flask of hot water (that still smelt of the coffee it had previously held) and no cup - so she gave up and drank out of a plastic cup found in the bathroom. Unfortunately I have another trip to the same hotel with a group of friends in a couple of weekends time - we cannot cancel as we chose the guaranteed option. Oh Dear!

Room Tip: If you book an adjoining or family room be careful to check you will actually get it. Rooms facing...

Hotel Le Pierre is located about a five minute walk from Pereire metro stop. The lobby is very small but the downstairs breakfast room is a nice size.

Our room was a standard sized European hotel room...small but adequate. Our room was kept very clean by housekeeping. Two room problems stayed with us for the five days we were there. Our Toilet dripped loudly. Also after using the hairdryer on day 2 it would not shut off. We resorted to putting Bandaids over the on-off switch to keep it quiet. Reported the problems but neither were fixed.

Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of variety. Hours extended from 6:30 - 10:30.

I would stay here again...if they fix the toilet and dryer.

I liked the area: quiet and reasonably close to the nearest Metro stop. However, the hotel itself was disappointing. Whilst all of the Staff were friendly enough, the room decor was tired and dated. Breakfast was mediocre. Fine for a one night stay. Any more would have been pretty depressing.

Good clean hotel perhaps a bit dated but clean and comfortable.
Surprisingly large room for city centre location with 4 large mirror slide robes and standard ensuite.
Bath a bit worn and tarnished. Shower Luke warm on first morn but fine on the second.

Fast check in by friendly staff all who spoke good English and provided good directions to Paris highlights .it was oct and cold out so didn't use the patio but it looked a nice spot for the summer.
Bed and linen fine comfy and warm although a bit low but a good size.

Hotel is close to the metro local cafés and bars . It is also close to a large supermkt .

Acid test would I return yes I got a good deal

Located a 5 minute wall from the Periere Metro station and 20 minutes from the Gare Du Nord.
This a great hotel to explore Paris. Located in the 17th district of Paris in a nice quiet street.
Bed was a little low but room was OK apart from the chair which had a collapsed cushion.
We used the restaurant once for breakfast (20 euros PP) and this was very average for £16!
Staff were friendly and helpful AND tolerated my appalling French voacab by answering me in English. Would I use this again? Yes.

After an unpleasant experience with a bad bus shuttle service from the airport which was over 2 hours late, it was really great that the hotel turned out to be so great. The people behind the desk were all very friendly and extremely accommodating. They all speak English, and some speak other languages but it varies from person to person.

The hotel is very conveniently located, with many cafes and restaurants surrounding it, and a supermarket right up the street. The metro is a 2 minute walk away and is only a few stops from the main city or places to take the hop on hop off tours. The metro is also extremely easy to navigate, even if you don't speak french.

With 24 hour front desk service, daily room cleaning, a big comfortable bed, temperature control, soundproof windows, a fridge, a large in room safe, coffee/tea making facilities (restocked daily), satellite tv, and a nice clean bathroom with heated towel rack.

The room isn't big, but it definitely doesn't feel cramped either I found it to be fairly decent size considering that most European hotels/apartments are very confined. And if you are in Paris the size of a hotel room shouldn't matter as you will be too busy sight seeing and only really using the hotel to shower and sleep as we did.

I highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: I'm not sure if they have a swimming pool or fitness center. But if they do I didn't see or...
