Stayed at this lovely Hotel for our wedding anniversary and were delighted with the fantastic location and service. We had a room with a terrace with spectacular views overlooking Paris including the Eiffel Tower. Staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. Will stay at Le Littre again.

Located in heart of excellent shopping and just feet away from both metro and bus stops.
Staff incredibly patient and helpful in giving advice, directions, and scheduling events for you.
Mihailo (say Michael) Tomic at the front desk taught us all we needed to know to master the
Metro and bus routing. We requested a dinner river cruise which he quickly arranged for us
with a first class group. Our room with large, quiet, and very comfortable. I understand E. Tower
views are available.
Highly recommend.

Room Tip: For 60 euro extra daily I think you can get a balcony and view.

The upgraded room at this hotel is spectacular and has a beautiful terrace with a large table. The breakfast is a large European style assortment. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to be centrally located in a beautiful boutique hotel.

I am just writing my review for our April stay at this hotel which is nothing short of good praises. Let me start by saying that the previous reviewers are so right about how central the location is being a stone's throw away from the metro and bus stop that goes around the major tourist attraction within central Paris. I travelled with 2 of my girlfriends and the place felt very safe even for travels at night. The room they appointed to us couldn't be more perfect in terms of size and comfort. We didn't have the room with the view, but we decided we were not going to be staring at Eiffel tower from our hotel room but from key places, instead. The breakfast buffet was also very filling and pretty much helped us survive long days of walking around. The maitre'd at the buffet area was very welcoming and friendly and made sure our coffee was always served hot while making sure the buffet area was amply stocked. The front desk personnel were always very helpful when we were trying to figure out our way around the metro. I will be back in Paris one day and when I do, I wouldn't mind going back to this lovely little hotel. Merci beaucoup!

I was a bit skeptical prior to our arrival, about the hotel, but it was only because it was our first time in Paris and I didn't know a lot about it, other than the reviews I read and it came recommended from Costco travel. We couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel is in a great location and it is very near the Montparnasse Bienvenue Metro stop. From there you can get all over Paris rather quickly. I didn't realize, until our last day, that they sell a book of 10 Metro tickets, right at the hotel, as well as museum passes. If you take advantage of this, it will save you lots of time. The staff were all very friendly and spoke english, for those of us who are not fluent in French. There is a lot of shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. We spent quite a bit of time exploring the area around the hotel and had no problems whatsoever. If you exit the hotel and turn right and then make a right at the end of the street, there is a very nice local market with beer, wine and groceries. There is a very nice restaurant right across the street called Le Petit Littre. The food is wonderful and you can walk back after dinner. We had the breakfast buffet every morning and there was plenty of food with lots of variety. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was very quiet. We had two twin beds placed together to make a king, but that was fine for us. We were usually tired at the end of the day and we had no trouble sleeping. There wasn't much of a view, but it didn't matter since we don't spend a lot of time in the room. They also had free WiFi, but it was a little slow. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and I would not hesitate to go back again or recommend Hotel Le Littre to friends and family.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurbished room on a higher floor. If you are willing to pay extra, you can get a view o...

Dear Steve R,

Greetings from Paris!

All our team is joining me to THANK YOU so much for choosing our property for your very first time in Paris, as well as for taking the time to share your opinion about it !!

We are delighted to hear that Costco recommended our property, they truly are a fantastic and so loyal partner to us :-)

Our two lifts and the table in the lounge area of the hotel are equipped with a list of all the tickets on sale at the front desk: 10 metro tickets books, museum pass (2 or 4 days), river cruise on the Seine, entrance to get to the best 360° view of Paris (the Montparnasse Tower, only 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel), tickets to discover a 1 hour movie about Paris at Paris Story and others to come !

Le Petit Littré is also one of our favorites :-) Feel free to ask our Concierge team any other advices you would need, there are plenty of small traditional restaurants around the hotel!

Regarding the view, most of our rooms overlook our calm and bright courtyard; however, we do have rooms with view on the Eiffel Tower and the golden "dome des Invalides"; if you are interested in staying in such a room, feel free to ask for it for your next stay in Paris! (a supplement will be applied depending on the initial category booked).

Thank you also for reporting about the WIFI; our team is actively working on it to get a stronger and faster connexion.

Thank you again for your lovely words Steve and we definitely look forward to welcoming you again at Le Littré very soon!

With our very best regards,

France & Cristèle, your devoted guest relation team.

Chose the hotel through a travel advisor though we booked ourselves.
If you can take the upgrade option to have the 7th floor or above to get the Eiffel Tower view and terrace. An extra 60 euros was worth the expense to see the sun set behind the tower an hour after we had eaten there.
Sipping cocktails as the evening chill set in wrapped up in coats and jumpers was truly fabulous.
The hours difference between the UK and Paris meant it was still light at gone 10:15 in late May as the tower slowly illuminated. Going from flashing lights for five minutes or so to the steadily increasing view as the night set in, seeing the search light at the top of the tower rotate round.

We spent a weekend in Paris for my wife's 40th birthday (mid May 2014) and had the pleasure to stay at Hotel Le Littre. We arrived on the Friday, and stayed for two nights.

On arrival, we were given a wonderful welcome by the hotel staff, and offered lots of advice on places to visit and discounts to certain attractions. We had booked a Superior room, but on arrival, we were offered an upgrade free of charge, which was very kind.

Once we got to our room, we saw that we had been left a selection of complimentary macarons (which were delicious), a note welcoming us to the hotel and Paris, and to wish my wife a wonderful 40th birthday, which was a nice touch.

The room itself was on the 4th floor and a very good size - the bed and sofa were very comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with a nice powerful shower. Everything in the room was very clean as well.

The hotel itself is in a very convenient location, nearby to the Montparnasse Tower, close to the Metro and within walking distance of many of the sights of the city. On the same street as the hotel is a lovely boulangerie, selling the most amazing pastries and such.

Not related to the hotel, but we did feel that some of the restaurants close to the hotel, along the Boulevard Montparnasse were not as nice as others we tried.

I cannot comment on the restaurant or bar as we didn't make use of them, but they looked nice from what we could tell.

All in all, I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Le Littre and would definitely stay there again.
