We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service was very friendly and the hotel is well located - nearest Metro Cadet 2 minutes walk, Gare du Nord 10 minutes walk. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed but the best thing was being able to choose the size of bed we wanted which was a treat after numerous experiences of being crammed into a small double. We had a 2m wide bed which meant we had the best nice sleep ever in Paris.

We would like to thank you for your comments. We have different size of rooms and beds and we are happy you had such a good sleep. In fact, it is the most important thing when you stay in an hotel. That is why we change our beds frequently to be sure our guests are satisfied. We hope to see you again soon.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights during March 2013.
The hotel is located in a good area, 15 minutes walk from the opera, two minutes from the metro station.
The hotel is in excellent condition, clean and renovated.
The room we got was relatively small, but sufficient.
Breakfast is good and varied.
Staff are kind and helpful.
In summary, very good hotel, comfortable and recommended.

The hotel is good located, near the Cadet metro station. Rooms are clean and small, but hey this like all over Paris. the rooms were refurbished nicely and at least the bathroom is large.
Good buffet breakfast to start the day.
Nice and friendly staff. This is a good 3 star hotel.

Before arriving realize the free parking advertised on their website doesn't exist. Plan on parking at least 3 blocks away, paying 28E a day, and walking back in seedy neighborhoods. When you arrive at the hotel the front desk clerk will treat you like a nuisance and be disrespectful. On your way to your room you will be lucky to have the overpowering smell of cheap cologne block the smell of what I assume to be a dead moldy cat of approximately 8 months. The room is cramped and dirty oh so so dirty. The walls are paper thin and enable you to partake in your neighbors usually loud debates. The HVAC system stopped working which was pleasant when it was 2C outside and inside. Oh and this hotel is no where near anything interesting.

Best Western is like McDonalds. You know what you are getting. Rooms are small and so is the bathroom (evaluation compared with other BW).

Room is nice but the corredor is not (carpet worn out). Due to the spring in the doors they always slam so in the morning sleep is disturbed

Good location and nice staff

We and our group stayed on the top floor in rooms that seemed to have added relatively recently in what was the attic. Having stayed in Paris a number of times, it was good to stay in decent-sized rooms. We walked here from Gare Du Nord, and to Chartier for dinner.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the new rooms on the top floor.

Situated only a couple minutes away from the métro stop Cadet (line 7), you have a fast connection to different parts of the city. When you arrive by train at Gare du Nord or Gare d'Est, it's only a 15-20 min. walk to the hotel, you just have to follow the boulevard La Fayette. Great walk for a first glance of the city.

A lot of restaurants in the area of the hotel (mostly Asian), if you cross the boulevard La Fayette, you will find more real French bistro's and restaurants. Also some fast food restaurants and supermarkets around the metro station Cadet (just around the corner of the hotel).

Friendly and helpful staff with a 24/7 open reception desk. We had a problem with the room card (no keys), but it was fixed immediately at the reception.

The rooms were very clean and tidy, all the rooms seemed to have been renovated recently (maybe a few years ago already, but everything looked still very nice). The beds were made up every day, and the towels were changed too. Always very nice to enter a cleaned room after a long day of walking in Paris.

The rooms are pretty small, but for such a central location in the city, that doesn't really matter (you just come to the hotel to sleep, so why bother the tiny lack of space).

High definition television in the room with the standard France television network and some extra's like Canal + and Eurosport.

Breakfast was great. Open from 6:30 to 12:00 (as I remember). A lot of variety with fresh croissants, etc.

We stayed 2 nights. Although the room was located to a inner courtyard on the fifth floor with many other hotel and apartment rooms, we had no noise at all from other rooms or from the outside of the hotel. We had two very good, quiet nights.

On the last day, we left our luggage at the hotel in a locked room until we retrieved them at the end of the day to catch our train back. A very useful service which is greatly appreciated, even after you have checked out.

Definitely worth the stay and would book again in the future.
