“Pleasant hotel for weekend break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2014

Had a lovely time staying in this hotel. Convenient location for the sights and access to Paris transport system. Room was small(ish) but very nice and well equipped....could do with tea/coffee facilities though. Hotel location was quiet at night, which was great, but there is building work nearby which could be a pain (0800 start) during the week (March 2014). Staff very friendly. Breakfast nice

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. It was excellent. When we arrived we were greeted by the helpful and friendly reception staff. Pierre deserves a special mention as he was friendly and always had a friendly word and smile.
The bed in the room was very comfortable and clean. The room we had was in the fifth floor with a corner balcony, which would be great to use in the Summer when weather is warmer.
The location of the Hotel is within walking distance of the Champs Elysee. Lots of restaurants nearby and shops.
Wifi was free and the signal was excellent.
We would definately recommend this Hotel its chic and luxurious for a small hotel.
I look forward to returning to this Hotel.

I did a lot of research on various Paris hotels before going with this one. The location is fantastic. Short walk from the two metro stations (Alma Marceau on the M9 line) and Franklin D Roosevelt on the M1 and M9 lines. Both stations span the Avenue Montaigne which has the Champs Elysees on one end and the Eiffel Tower on the other. There is also a grocery store very close to the hotel and you can get supplies rather easily. A short walk to great dining and shopping. Very close (15-20 min walk) to the Arc de Triomphe too.

The Pros: The reception folks were outstanding, courteous, spoke excellent English and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms were large for Paris standards and there was enough room to keep our two suitcases. Had a study table with WiFi and a decent sized bathroom with great amenities that were replenished in no time. The room was quiet at night and the beds were great that allowed a good night's sleep. We had breakfast included served in the room, which was fabulous, both in terms of quality and quantity. If you want hot items (eggs, bacon etc) it will cost extra.

The Cons: The WiFi was a bit erratic in terms of speed of connection, but you could connect on all devices. There is an elevator, but it is very tiny and we barely fit in with two carry on roller boards. The bell hop is very nice and will bring luggage separately. The coffee and drinks in the bar downstairs are rather expensive, so go for coffee outside to a cafe. Better views. The heating in February was great, in fact it got pretty warm at night and we had to turn the heating down a bit. The dining area is very small so it's much better to have the breakfast in the room.

Summary: loved the place! Will certainly go back. Considering all the issues inherent in all boutique hotels in places like Paris, this was THE BEST option available.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 5th floor are deluxe rooms and are from 503-507. These are the most expensive and give...

I have been to Paris a dozen times and have had my fill of accomodations within the city. This hotel offers a great combination of luxurious feeling amenities, excellent near-over-the-top service and perfect location.

I usually stay in the Marais / Chatelet area but this year my husband requested that we stay close to the Champs Elysee to experience the New Year's Eve vibe. The hotel is really close to both the Champs Elysee and a few steps from the luxury shopping of Avenue Montaigne, but well within the Triangle d'or to offer a peaceful and quiet retreat that is well wanted after a day of sight seeing and touring.

Service before stepping through the door was excellent. The concierge was able to make reservations and find out more information on specific places for us for New Year's eve.

We booked our room with the tripadvisor deal online (with free breakfast that you can have delivered to your room) and requested a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and we were given a great room on the 5th floor. Staff was friendly and we even received a special eiffel tower snowglobe gift from them on New Year's eve along with free champagne and cheese in the lobby area before we departed for dinner. They put us in a very festive mood for the holidays, and we felt at home and looked forward to being in our room at the end of each day.

Oh, and wifi was free and the signal strength was very good (a great plus considering other hotels in our trip had spotty service).

Would definitely recommend staying here as a special treat to yourself and your loved ones in this beautiful city.

Room Tip: Floors on 5th floor offer views of eiffel tower and have terraces. Request this in advance.

The West End Hotel was recommended by a well-heeled Parisian who said there was no need to spend the $$$$ on a 5-star hotel. She was so right!. Perfect location. Delightfully quiet side street dotted with well-known restaurants and superb shopping. Rooms surprisingly chic and comfortable. Breakfast perfectly delivered so as to enjoy on small terrance table. Staff most gracious and helpful. Actually, more like staying at a private club than a hotel.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better the view of Paris rooftops and chance of terraces. With only 6 floor...

Great location, spacious room and bathroom. Typical Parisian decoration. Very nice employees who are always willing to help. Breakfast was ok, good, but nothing spetacular - we eneded up always having it in the room.

Stayed with my wife, great location chique, exquisite and excellent rooms! Highly recommended! Very good breakfast that can be served in your room! Look to stay on the 3rd floor!
Service is good, but without ant special perks, good restaurants close by!
