We had a 3 day break in this hotel, very friendly staff, informative and nice in every way. Not rude as some have said. Always smiling and who ever was at the desk was great.
It is just opposite a station direct into St Lazare. 1 stop!
It is a walk to the nearest metro Rome. But there are buses! We cycled from the Eiffel Tower on Velo bikes, great as there was a parking station right outside the hotel.
Clean rooms, great beds. Old fashioned but typically Parisian!
Bit noisy in the morning, but it is Paris!

Room Tip: Away from the railway if possible

Rude staff, incorrect room, poor area, miles from metro. Staff stuck us in standard room twice when we paid for superior, staff accused us of using bed when in one room for 10 minutes. Poor value for money 400 for 4 poor nights

It had great morning pastries. It was right by a train station, bus routes. Nice neighborhood, safe. Some of the same things said to be wrong in an old review were still wrong, a leaky hand held shower head that sprayed all out the sides. We put a sock over it and then at least it didn't spray out of the bathroom. You have to ask for soap, shampoo. They have it, no problem, no face cloths, which might be a European thing. We rolled with it, we're creative, had a ball. Enjoy.

This was a very pretty hotel in an area which was fairly near to the major tourist areas.just about every member of staff spoke perfect English. I have seen other reviews of the hotel and it seems pretty unfair to criticise in the way they have.of course we were on the top floor away from the railway lines so I guess we were lucky. My only criticism really would be the lack of tea and coffee making facilities. Its something you would expect to see in a four star hotel.maybe some sauces at breakfast as well. All in all though great place.

Located in district 17 of Paris you are conveniently located no where near anything of interest.

Transport wise, you are right in top of a railway station and a major railway junction, so expect lots of noise. There are no near by metro links (slap in the middle between two with a substantial walk) so expect to use Taxis regularly - particularly in business.

The rooms are of typical Parisien fair, small. The decor is ageing and the rooms aren't exactly clean. Don't expect you TV to work or indeed to ever connect to the "Advertised" wifi.

The front desk are inconsistent, and seem to go out if there way to ill advise you, for example we knew getting a taxi on a Sunday morning would be near impossible unless booked the previous day, the staff were insistent it would be okay to do on the day despite our insistence! Needless to say we waited an hour the following morning!

Checking out us painful, despite asking your room number for breakfast (which if you don't get to early enough there will be little choice from the meagre amount available) each morning this doesn't get fed through to reception, though if you do stay here, this is an opportunity to lower your bill ;)

Possibly the worst hotel i have stayed in, ever!

We booked a mystery deal through wotif and ended up so disappointed. The room they have us was overlooking the train tracks and main road and was so loud. We asked for another room which was better but still noisy. The shower didn't work so we called reception to which they said there was nothing they could do about it. The shower did work in the end. Comfortable bed, okay location. We stayed in another 4 star hotel in Paris which was 4 star, this one was not.

Was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews before our visit however, was pleasantly surprised. Hotel a little out of the way but good bus and metro links. Room was small but most Paris hotel rooms are, and clean. Aircon worked amazingly which was a massive plus! Light switches were weird and one even seemed to turn all wall sockets off as well!!!
Only flaw would be cleaner came to clean room very early... 9am and then once cleaned when we were out did not lock room door after! Not happy about that!
Other wise staff were friendly and would visit again if wanting to stay somewhere on a budget!
