“quiet, walkable to tour eiffel.”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

this review is based on the room we had, which was room 100. it was on the entry floor beyond the front desk. we never saw the rest of the hotel. the room was smallish (not a surprise for paris) and dark ( below street level, so curtains were always drawn for privacy). the bathroom was quite large by paris standards, and therefore, we think it may have been designated for handicapped use. there was a breakfast offered, for an additional fee, in another room, which we opted out of and never saw.

we felt separated from the whole experience of this hotel. but we were there for the location, and this goal was met in a very good way.

the location, walkable to tour eiffel, was priceless. room was comfortable and well appointed, nice neighborhood, private, quiet.

Room Tip: ask for a different room, for a different experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location was convenient to access tour buses and Metro. I felt safe in the hotel and walking in the neighborhood as I was touring solo. The room and bathroom were modern and comfortable. The hotel was a block from several outdoor cafes that were excellent for breakfast on the way to a day of sightseeing or for a break on the way back to the hotel.

Great staff...front desk staff very helpful and knowledgable. Staff in the Breakfast area was wonderful!! They could not be more attentive to our needs. Front desk staff was most accommodating when it came to assisting us in booking trips.

Celebrated my birthday, checked into hotel, was welcomed by friendly staff, a good location for tourists , walking distance to metro and bus and taxis stops, and hotel was comfortable , clean and neat, our suite was accommodating and cosy, we booked a large suite due to rooms being small in Paris, we had a view from our balcony of the Eiffel Tower and was the perfect birthday morning, coffee and croissants in bed. The staff and concierge George was helpful and spoke English, free Wi if and good business centre, small bar, Good beds and nice towels, breakfast was very healthy and rooms serviced. A modern gem in Historic Paris . Well worth every Euro. A travelers delight, we will be back, thank you.

Room Tip: A large suite one with a balcony has perfect views and more space.

Visited in November, great location near the Trocadero/Eiffel Tower in a quiet residential

Our room was very well laid out, HUGE comfy bed by European standards, I'd say it's comparable to a American king size. The modern bathroom was well lit with a tub large enough for a bath

I though the hotel was very quiet and private, in our three nights there we only ran into one other couple.

Overall I'd love to return to the Plaza Tour Eiffel, but with my own bubbly because after a certain time the bar is not allowed to sell alcohol.

It was our first trip with my husband and 18 month old to Paris to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The hotel location was fantastic - about 15 min walk to the base of Eiffel Tower and 5 min walk to the Trocadero metro station. The staff at Plaza made our stay very comfortable and were very accommodating with our baby. We received a free room upgrade, got a small refrigerator in the room and an electric kettle at no charge. George who works there was very helpful. While the rooms are tiny, they were clean and the bathroom was fairly decent sized. It was a bit noisy during the day if you are trying to nap in the afternoon. There is a boulangerie and patisserie right next door which has great coffee and croissants. They are closed on Sat & Sun. It is worth walking to Passy which is about 10 min from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

We booked this because of close proximity to Metro line for Roland Garros French Open tennis, as well as Trocadero which has one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower. I agree with others that it's a modern boutique style hotel similar to those in NYC. We had a tiny room but very nice bathroom, towels, and comfy bed. The breakfast was better than average. I thought hotel a bit expensive but price included breakfast. Our room was on the 4th floor with only a street view. The staff was very helpful with booking dinner and taxis. I just wish they had coffee maker in the room. I would recommend this to friends :-)

Room Tip: Book a higher floor if you want a view
