“tiny halls big value”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

Spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Aston Hotel, it is a great location and was a tremendous value... on a street full of other small hotels 1 block off a major boulevard. The room itself was really cute, clean and neat if a bit small. AC worked like a charm. TV did not appear to have any English speaking channels. Wifi worked fine, but had to resubmit credentials several times a day. Shower was good. The hallways, staircase, and elevator were unbelievable narrow - which kind of had a quaint quality to it. Front desk was always very nice and helpful. Did not try the breakfast, there are ample opportunities for breakfast nearby, my favorite is the crepe stand right around the corner. Easy walking distance to the airport bus near the Opera.

Everything was in line with promised services & things. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very small, but very nice. Wi-fi was working, but a bit slow (movie streaming was a bit difficult, but checking e-mails was good enough). Breakfast was simple but hd all the needed things in it. I have to agree, that every single area in the hotel is significantly smaller than expected, but take into account that it's not a 4 or 5 star hotel, and for a 3 star hotel it's very nice, clean, comfty and in a good location.

Room Tip: The street can be rather noisy, during night kee the door shut; The double bed is really double siz...

It's a walking distance to most attractions;I am a Hilton, sheraton and Hyatt guy. I like sizable rooms large lobby, etc., so the day we arrived. I was disappointed that it was a teeny hotel in a hidden corner with a small lobby and microscopic rooms ( I mean tiny)
I decided that I will move the next day, our first visit was to louvre and we simply walked to the museum. We obtained a map to know the city, and we found out we were at the heart of the city and subway or cab was very accessible, even then I wasn't happy with my room but ended up staying there for 5 more days because of my wife, she utterly liked the fact that we had to literally hug each other each morning when we got into the elevator and hug again when we returned to the hotel and took the elevator to our floor purely because the elevator was so tiny that the door wouldn't close unless we hugged each other as barely two people can fit.
That was our romantic Paris experience, you will believe it when you book this hotel.

Room Tip: No tips rooms are small location is great

Except of the excellent behaviour of the staff i will not remember anything good of the hotel. The room was very small (i mean very!!!), the bathroom could not be smaller, the elevator was like coffin (it may sounds ridiculous that i mention that but if you can not fit in with your luggage and you have to go up to the 6th floor, believe there is an issue!) and the breakfast could not be poorer! I would not recommend it even though the location was very convenient.
Finally i will not comment on the price since at Paris everything is expensive! Hope this helps!

Room Tip: There is no tip to get a good room...sorry!

The room was super tiny, not renovated and was ver dingy. There was mold in the bathroom. The elevator is only big enough for one person to get into if you have luggage. I plan to travel back to Paris next year but will not be staying here again. I will say that the receptionist was very nice though.

I've stayed in Aston Hotel for six nights last week. I was travelling with a friend and we've got a twin bedroom. For me,the hotel was excellent. Great breakfast, the room was clean all the time, including the bethroom and towels. The bedroom was small, but it was very Ok for Paris! Above expectations! The location was very good too, near the Subway and great places for eat. Great staff! Loved it!
