“Very comfortable stay and great staff”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 via mobile

We very much enjoyed our stay in Montmartre. It's location is fantastic - theres a Metro station a few minutes walk either side, as well as the Moulin Rouge and a taxi rank. Easy to walk around or train somewhere else. The rooms were small, which we expected, but not cramped and were clean, air conditioned and modern. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. We had no complaints and would definitely stay there again - the only (minor) thing would be the elevator was often on the blink, so we just used the stairs which was no big deal, except on check out when we needed to get our heavy luggage down 5 flights... But that's a minor thing and will probably be fixed soon. We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed it immensely.

I stayed here with my partner for my 21st birthday, we wanted to see the more lively part of Paris in Montmartre and decided on this lovely little hotel due to its easy access to public transport and a short taxi ride away from the crazy house cabret show. We stayed in a superior double and it was way more than we expected for the price, it was one of the cleanest hotels I have come across on Europe, the cleaners where very attentive. The design is very simple yet modern making it welcoming. On top of that we were given a room with a balcony to oversee the parisian nights. The staff where kind enough to store our luggage when we checked out early until later in the evening which became handy again since we had decided taking the train back to the airport was a bit much so they called a shuttle bus for us! It was perfect for us siteseeing for a long weekend and would definitely stay again so I'd recommend to anybody!

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Got a great deal on lastminute. £130 per person including Eurostar from st pancras.
The hotel is a 20 min walk from Gare Du Nord. Well worth walking so you can get your bearings and see what's around. We went back to 2 restaurants we found on the walk.
The hotel was fine. As I said it was very cheap so I was not expecting a great deal. The rroom was very small, even though it was a privilege room, but perfectly serviceable.
Nearest metro was Pigalle only a 3 minute walk away but you could walk quite easily into the main tourist areas if you have the time/inclination.

I booked a room for four nights while my husband and I were in Paris for a wedding. It was my first time in Paris so I was a little nervous about getting the accommodation right, but I was not disappointed with Libertel Montmatre Duperee!

Nestled away in the cobble stone streets of Montmartre and only a two minute walk to the beautiful Moulin Rouge this hotel was simple but satisfied our needs. It may not to be to everyone's taste as the basic rooms are very small but the linen was crisp and clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom newly renovated and the air conditioner working.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who were happy to call us cabs as well as book an extra room for a friend who was to arrive the next day.

I highly suggest going to visit the Cafe from the movie Amelie (Café des Deux Moulins) which is a short walk away as well as getting lost in the streets of Montmarte for a full 'bohemian' experience.

This hotel is very close to the Blanche metro station which is on the blue line. We found it super easy to take the metro to the Pere-Lachaise Cemetary to visit Jim Morrisson then took the batubus (hop on hop off boat) passed Notre Dame, Padlock bridge, Louvre and the Eiffel tower. The metro is super easy so don't be afraid!

A little warning for those of you who are not open minded, this hotel is based in the red light district so there are many sex shops, flashing lights and sleazy undertones. Maybe not the best area for young children!

Our total experience at this hotel was great. I will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Comfort rooms are very small! If you need more space definitely book one of the larger rooms. The st...

We booked a family room - which turned out to be a large room with a huge queen bed and a single - and the most amazing views. The room was spotless and linen crisp - and the best of all were the gowns and slippers (we were soaking wet on arrival after being caught up in a rain downpour).

The metro is conveniantly close and you will also find some nice supermarkets, bakery and restaurants in the area. A little walk down the street you will also find the famous Moulin Rouge!

The lady at the reception was fantastic. She gave us good advice on free entrance to the museums and also assisted with getting a discounted room for the next day (we flew home late at night and needed a place to clean up after a day in Paris).

There were only two issues that did not sit well. The lift broke on the Sunday we arrived. Luckily after our arrival as our room was on the 5th floor. It was not fixed by the time we left and we had to go up and down 5 stories - which became a challenge when we had to go down with all our luggage!

The second issue is a bit more alarming. Upon our return home, we discovered that some of the curios we bought in Spain were missing. I packed our backpack with the curios at the river boat we stayed on the day before we arrived in Paris and all the items were still there. The only place the backpack was left unattended was at our hotel - the rest of the time it was with us. The discovery cause some great sadness as one of the items was a small soccer ball with autographs by the Spanish team - my son was in tears!

Room Tip: One of the higher floors. Worth paying a bit more for a larger room.

it is a great hotel if you don't mind staying in a very small room ,100 meters to the moulin rouge so i was just telling taxi to drive me to it ,believe me it is a lot easier ,nice staff but changes daily ,10 min walk to galerie Lafayette with the metro station in front of it (line 9) can take you to champs Elysee or tour Eiffel in minutes .hope you enjoy ....
