The hotel room was much bigger than expected. Very comfortable bed, clean and great decor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect; around the corner from the metro. Made our stay in Paris very enjoyable - highly recommend!

This is a charming small hotel with a welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was large, well supplied and had good closet space. The very welcome extra nice touch was the quiet lounge offering a free supply of water, coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks throughout the afternoon, and the room's mini bar also held a free supply of water and soft drinks. Kathiane, Kasham and Ronnie were three members of staff who consistently offered courteous assistance that was genuinely helpful. Also, they all spoke excellent English, and we heard Kathiane speaking Spanish with other guests.

Room Tip: The elevator does not go above the 4th floor.

Stayed 3 ights here on a business trip and from the moment we walked through the door the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The rooms are quite small but ok for a business hotel, the furnishings have some chic pieces that make it special. Love staying here and will certianly go back as the location is great too.

Room Tip: Room at the back of the hotel not facing onto the main road that is quite busy

I stayed here just for one night on business as it was very close to our office. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming on reception and spoke good English (I think they pitied my schoolboy French!). My room was on the 6th floor which involved a lift no bigger than a wardrobe to the fourth floor and then two floors up a spiral staircase. It was fine for me but if you have a problem with lifts/small spaces, I think you'd find this lift quite uncomfortable.

I loved the bedroom. It was right at the top in the corner and was made up of two quirky shaped rooms plus a decent sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are small but absolutely fine for a city break or business trip. I really liked the unusual angles in the rooms and the exposed red brick walls.

I got to Paris quite late so ordered some room service. It took about an hour to arrive. The portions were smaller than I expected (about the size of Prèt salad) but they were tasty, of good quality and quite adequate. The room service menu offered a very good selection, including some good options for vegetarians.

The next morning the day reception staff were just a friendly as the evening before and took it upon themselves to check my route to my next destination.

I'd happily return to this hotel again on business and would also consider for a mini break due to the great location near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Élysée.

Room Tip: The corner rooms (one on each floor) sleep three people in two quirky rooms - a double and a single...

This was our first trip to Paris and I was concerned about language issues. We couldn't be more pleased with the hotel and staff. Great location close to Champs Elysees. The staff helped with all our need from finding a perfect restaurant for our last night to navigating the Metro. The breakfast selection was excellent with prompt service (especially for coffee Americano). Also enjoyed the happy hour munchies and non alcoholic beverages. I highly certainly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Elevator is very small and slow but quite quaint so chose a lower floor room.

My Wife and I went here for 2 nights in June for our mini-moon and had a wonderful time, there are so many things that went wel so I'm going to list them:
-We arrived and they gave us an upgrade because we were on our honeymoon and they had a better room available!
-They had a breakfast fit for kings, including sausages, scrambled egg and other hot things for those brits who fancy a nearly English breakfast.
-The bed was great, and so enormous we could both spread out and have loads of room.
-We heard no sounds of traffic or other guests from our room.
-The bathroom was really lovely.
-There was a Boris-Bike like hire station around the corner, and we most definitely used this and enjoyed it so much, we cycled all over Paris and even from the little Statue of Liberty to La Batille.
-We had all this without breaking the bank, meaning that when I took my wife into the Tiffany's shop about 5 min walk away on the Champs Ellisay (excuse the spelling), I could buy her a modest present (modest in Tiffany's standards).

First--what's wonderful about this hotel: an extremely hospitable staff where everyone tries very hard to give its patrons a totally, enjoyable, relaxing experience; beautiful forward-looking decor in an historic building; a quiet, nicely decorated room with a very large bathroom area; a perfect location close to at least three metro stations. Why this hotel didn't get our 5-star rating is due to management's policy of cutting off your entry to your room unless you paid your room charge first --this happened to us between the third and fourth day of our reserved six-day stay and had not been told about this policy when we checked in. (We were told only when we inquired about our keys not working. We paid, but having traveled around the world and never encountering such a system, we thought the policy to be very inhospitable.)
