“Good location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2014

Like other travellers we found the rooms very compact, typical of Paris. It was quite hot at night and we had the window open but the road below was quite noisy, lots of small motorbikes using it as a cut through from one main road to another. So it wasn't the best night's sleep ever.

That aside, it was clean and reasonably comfortable, had a kettle and most other basic essentials you would expect, plus a decent number of proper coathangers. Wifi was a bit flaky and we didn't sample breakfast as it was quite pricey at 16 euros (unless you are planning to make a meal of it). The café around the corner on the main road (Zepyr) did a lovely continental breakfast for 8 euros.

It must have the smallest lift in the world, and they do only have one. We managed, once, to fit four of us in at one time but after that we never tried more than 3. This becomes a bit of a problem at check-out time as a suitcase easily takes up the space of one person so allow plenty of time to get down to reception on the day you leave.

It's central and easy to walk to all the key places from here and did what we needed it to.

Stayed one night in this hotel. Whilst basic (as you would expect for a 3*), was pleasantly surprised.
Clean, small rooms but well equipped, free wi fi and safety box for a 30 euro deposit.
Very friendly front desk, and perfectly placed for a day's walking around the city to see the main sites.
In a funny little side street but within easy reach of a host of bars and cafes too, and just around the corner from Grands Boulevard metro.
Would recommend for a short break when you are not planning to spend much time in the room.

We stay in this hotel at November. Very nice staff. Good location)) for most of popular pleases)))))! Also good breakfast ( a lot of fruits, good coffee). Just one minus - very little space in the room. If your neighborhood do not sleep , you don't too

Good, clean, fairly basic hotel. It was well located about 100m from the Metro station, Grand Boulevards and only a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord. The hotel itself is in funny little side street off the main street, which was a bit confusing to start with but we soon worked it out. The staff are friendly and there are discounts for some attractions from the hotel reception. There are plenty of decent restaurants around the area. The beds were comfortable, though you may need to ask for additional pillows as one was not quite enough. Breakfast was fairly standard but there was plenty of everything and the staff were more than happy to replenish when asked. IT has the tiniest lift I have ever seen though!! It was good for my family, with 2 boys (11 and 14). Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Wifi wasn't great on the top floor (5) but it was fine in the "lounge" area near recep...

The room looks like just after refurbished as I can still smell the paint. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Toilet is just at a nice size with bath tub and basic amenities provided.

Perfect location as it is located at a happening area but quiet due to road restrictions. Is very comfortable. Hard Rock cafe is nearby too!

Breakfast is good with wide spread of choices.

Reception is helpful as they helped to book a car for us to get to train station, with charge of course.

Spent Three Days here, Great location and quiet due to the restricted road it is on. The staff on reception always very pleasant and helpful. Stayed in a triple room, fairly standard room size for Paris, must of been recently refurbished as fixtures and fittings immaculate and clean. Plenty of good Brasseries/Restaurants near by (try Bistrot De La Banque just around the corner on the back street for great value drinks and food). Would definitely return to this Hotel.

Just returned from 4 days in Paris staying at this hotel. Clean, well equiped room, including kettle, tea, coffee etc. Extremely well located, we walked back to the hotel from many of the tourist attractions and the metro station is 2 minutes away. Approx. 20 minute walk to Galeries Lafayette. Lots of restaurants in the area and supermarkets, really lovely arcade of shops nearby. In a extremely quiet street with lots of other hotels, so much quieter than most Parisian hotels.
