We loved our stay! Good location - 7 min walk to the nearest Metro and about 15 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. Very quiet neighborhood. Really nice rooms - comfortable beds, big TV, safe and a small refrigerator. Complementary water bottle every day. The staff was extremely service minded, friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back!

We've been staying 4 nights in the Villa Saxe Eiffel over my b-day. As you see on my profile, I usually don't write comments or rate hotels/locations.
We had a standard two-bed room which was in excellent condition. Our room had a great Flatscreen, a iPhone dock and a wireless phone as well as a little fridge. Everything in the hotel, as well as the hotel itself, seems very new and in brilliant condition. The area around the hotel is pretty calm and safe, ideal for a stroll at night trough the wonderful streets. From the first second, we felt that we picked the absolutely best hotel for our stay. The staff members always took their time to help us with great tips for restaurants, transportation and sightseeing. We've been in countless hotels the last few years all over the world, but the Villa Saxe Eiffel was definitely one of best experiences.
If you consider a trip to Paris, you won't be disappointed.
A big thank you again to the entire staff of the Villa Saxe Eiffel, we'll come back again. Keep up the excellent work.

My 8-year-old son and I stayed here for 4 days over Easter. Before we arrived I had been concerned that I had chosen unwisely and hastily, having spotted various references to the hotel "having a discrete location" and "massages offered". I needn't have worried. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and we had an excellent stay. Paris doesn't always do chic and child-friendly together, but this place managed it.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival, and throughout our stay the staff at reception dealt with queries from myself and my son in a deft and friendly manner.

Our room (46) was on the small side but comfortable. It was on the fourth floor, overlooking the courtyard, and afforded a view of the very tinniest tip of the Eiffel tower. Walls were properly soundproofed and the curtains were thick and light-proof, allowing us a couple of much-needed sleep-ins in the morning. There was some renovations in the building next door, but I don't recall them starting before 8am, and they did not disturb us. The only quibble I had with the room was that only one soap was provided on arrival, not two.

Breakfast was a delicious buffet served in the lounge/bar, with viennoiserie, bread, cereal, youghurt, bacon and scrambled eggs, salad and charcuterie. Tea included Darjeeling as well as English breakfast. The service was attentive and discrete. The usual international papers were available for those who liked to read over breakfast. Petits fours and nuts were available later in the lounge for tea and drinks.

The surrounding area was quiet. The nearby avenue de Saxe had a wide strip of concrete down the middle, perfect for walking toddlers and prams on a non-market day. The market arrived on Thursday and Saturday mornings. It had mostly food stalls but some sold food specialities which might make good presents. There weren't many shops in the area, but there were enough small provision shops and boulangeries near Segur metro station for bottles of water and small snacks.

I would recommend two restaurants nearby for a quick evening meal for good food and child-friendly service: Atelier Aubrun on the boulevard Garibaldi, and also La Tour de Nestle on the corner of avenue de Breteuil and the rue de Sevres. Both have English menus.

It's hard to write this review as many people have said how wonderful the hotel is but I have to be honest.

The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet spot with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower just outside the cul de sac. we arrived by car and there was a tiny spot where we could unload but this might be a bit of a problem if there was more than one car/taxi arriving at once. There was a couple also smoking right outside the front door which always puts me off when I have walk through their fog...

The lobby is beautiful - really well appointed and designed beautifully... Only there was no one on reception and after five minutes of looking for a bell/person we resorted to yelling 'hello' until someone arrived. We checked in and enquired about parking. The receptionist didn't know where the nearest secure car park was, how much it was or how much the on street parking was and whether it took cash or card. This resulted in a very frustrating half an hour getting the car parked which we didn't need a after a long drive from the UK. This is basic information that should be provided on check in if the hotel doesn't have it's own parking facility... In fact, a four star hotel should really be providing a valet service.

We arrived in our room which again was lovely, very well appointed, clean and with facilities such as the iPhone docking station and widescreen TV really setting it apart and making it worth the four stars although the teas and coffees hadn't been replenished as we discovered in the morning.

It was Saturday night and we didn't have a dinner reservation so after looking on here we asked (the same) receptionist to book it for us as we were having trouble getting through on our phone. It took 20 mins for her to call us back and say it was fully booked... This was fine but it would have been nice if she'd had a few suggestions of where we could go without a reservation.

The next morning we had to leave quite early and my husband rang down and spoke to a different receptionist about borrowing an iron. He said he would bring it up straight away but again 20 mins later he rang and said they had all been leant out. By this time it was too late anyway as we had to leave.

Overall, it is a beautiful hotel in terms of style and comfort but for me, a four star hotel really sets itself apart by its customer service and we left feeling a little deflated. I hope it was just a one off.

Dear Alexandra,

First of all, we would like to thank you for taking the time to give your contribution on Tripadvisor.
We are really pleased to read that you appreciate the decoration and the location of the Villa Saxe Eiffel.
We have read carefully your remarks about our service and we apologize for not having met with your expectations.
We understand the greeting was not as expected and we agree there should always be someone welcoming you in the lobby after a long journey. Thanks to your comments, we have now created a clear map available for our guests with the two secure car parks around the hotel.
We also apologize for not having replenished the tea and coffee facilities.
Regarding the restaurant reservation we agree we should have proposed an alternative, this is the least you can expect in a four stars hotel.
We have taken good note of your remark on the iron and board, we already provided the hotel with several of them to make sure we don’t fall out of stock.
Please be sure we are deeply concerned by your comments and we appreciate the details given. We really hope to welcome you again to show you our professionalism and the continuing improvements we are making since this recent opening.
Warmest regards from Paris,

Stephane Zabouri

As you can from my profile on TA that I don't often write reviews. However, I wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Hotel Saxe Eiffel because my wife and I recently stayed for five nights. We arrived early morning from the U.S. and we were relieved to learn our room was available immediately. We had a terrific time visiting Paris for our first time with the help from Damien, Vanessa, Christine and Anou. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again on our next visit.
