The largest hotel in Paris. 900+ bedrooms. All newly renovated. Good beds and bathrooms. The rooms are great. Check in and out usually efficient.
I love this place, but you should know what to expect. It's like an airport, the opposite of a Boutique hotel. A lot of people coming in and out from all over the world, airplane crews, conventions... With good service, and you always feel safe.
Great location, close to Montparnasse station and a metro hub
The issue is the breakfast. OK, there is a large selection of cold cuts, pastries, juices... But ambiance is a nightmare: long lines, noise... Like a low end buffet a Vegas, if you see what I mean...

Room Tip: Ask for a north view to have a look over Paris and Notre Dame.

The hotel was clean, so was the room, but the hotel had no personality. The hotel was much like any hotel one might find in any major city. The hotel was not in walking distance of any of the major sights in Paris. However, the Metro is close by and easily traveled. Our reservation included breakfast, there was a wide selection of foods, but it was as if we were sitting in the middle a noisy cafeteria.

Stayed here for 6 nights in early August. We requested triple occupancy and received a spacious room with two double beds. Since we had picked the busiest month to be tourists in Paris it was very hard to find smaller, independent hotels that had triple occupancy available.

Check-in was standard. The front desk staff could have been a little more welcoming and happy with their attitudes, but were efficient and answered questions when asked. As other reviews have stated, they spoke English quite well. The room met all of our needs and even exceeded some. Very spacious for a European hotel room. Enough space to lay out our luggage and have space to walk around. The room even had a small dining area table with chairs that we used often when we chose to eat-in with our purchases from the nearby Monoprix.

Bathroom was spacious and felt modern, once again as other reviews have written, the tub was a bit high. So for others this may pose a problem. Bathroom products were from the Roger & Gallet brand. Towels weren't cheap and thin, but fluffy and white. Bath robe and slippers were even provided.

After a long day of walking around and eating. It was so nice to come back to comfortable beds! Two types of pillows were provided for increased comfort; feathers and memory foam. The duvet was thick and warm. The AC seemed to get a little too cold at times, but in the middle of the night when you're too lazy to get out of bed, the duvet kept us warm and comfy.

The only mistake we made with this hotel was purchasing breakfast buffet vouchers for the length of our stay. Unless you have the breakfast included with your stay, don't purchase it. Breakfast was repetitive, the same items were put out each morning, and only a small selection of items. We tried returning 6 of our vouchers (two days of breakfast) and they said that it was non-refundable. Such a waste of money on breakfast here when we could've had something much more satisfying somewhere else. It would be cheaper and much better worth your money to eat breakfast outside of the hotel. Creperies and grocery stores are in abundance surrounding the hotel area.

We never felt unsafe walking back to the hotel at night. The metro is a short walk away, there are many surrounding restaurants and shops, and grocery stores near-by. It's such a great area close to the hotel, but convenient by metro to the major sights. It's a chain hotel so there isn't that feeling of personalization or detail you'd get with a smaller, independent hotel. However, we enjoyed our stay here and it gave us piece of mind to know that we didn't have to worry about the quality of our stay.

Large room with comfortable beds. Good free internet and located close to Gare Montparnasse. The breakfast buffet is terrific too. Friendly service at downstairs desk.

Great hotel. Next to the cemetery where Jean-Paul Sartre & de Beauvoir are buried.

This hotel is nice and in a very good location with restaurants, grocery stores, train and subway stations. The bed in this hotel is quite comfy like the Westin hotel. The main train station is across from the hotel. There are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance less than 10 minutes walk. The subway is very close by.

Room Tip: The only down side is there is no dead bolt locks in the room. It's quite expensive but the room overall is clean and comfy bed. The location is not close to Eiffel Tower but in a nice area with the main train station to go everywhere.
