Stayed in June 2010 for 4 nights , second time staying here. We love the neighborhood, easy to walk to Montmartre, very close to St George's metro, our room was always spacious, clean and we had a "hot plate" with a few pots to some fast warming up etc... Staff are very friendly. Nothing beats the Parisian charm.

Spent a few nights here for a shopping trip. The rooms were clean and nice. Its a great buy!

- Nice location
- A lot of cozy places to eat/have coffee just a minute away from the hotel.
- Quiet neighborhood
- Nice backyard
- Clean and nice rooms
- Not far from the metro and a small square which had a few shops

The front desk was helpful. There was no problem getting there.
We didnt end up eating at the hotel, because there were so many cute places close by.

I would recommend this as a cozy getaway for couples or friends going to see Paris. Quiet neighborhood, yet not far from the city center.

Room Tip: We had a room with a small balcony. It was really nice.

We booked our stay here because we had vacation club points that could be used. I did not have very high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. When we arrived the front desk clerk gave us our choice between two rooms, and we chose one that had a larger bed. It was comfortable and very clean with an excellent shower and closet/storage space. The bath fixtures and bed looked brand new, so that is a plus. The location is great, being so close to the Metro station, and there are a number of places to eat at the end of the block. There are also small grocery stores nearby with whatever you might need. We don't speak much French, but in all cases, the owners of these stores and restaurants were very nice to us as we stumbled through trying to explain what we wanted.

We did have breakfast in the downstairs little cellar dining area. It was okay, with nice variety of breakfast foods, but you could probably do better elsewhere for the price. We ate here because it was convenient.

This is very much a real working neighborhood and we saw families out in the evenings with kids just enjoying themselves. We would certainly stay here again.

This was our second stay here and it was again a great experience. The location is excellent as it is in Montmartre close to many attractions and 2 metro stations. It is not touristy and the bars and restaurants are full of local Parisians.

The reception staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel, it was light and had a view. The room had been refurbished and was of very good quality, the bathroom was of excellent. The breakfasts very good.

Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

Room Tip: As high as possible and at the back of the hotel.

Our travel agent booked us into this hotel. Mostly due to the close location of Montmarte and Gare du Nord. We had a Night at 'Moulin Rouge ' which was a 15-20min. walk .The receptionist was great with booking in and was also very helpful with info. about Paris out and about , buses and the metro and local nearby restaurants. Being on a one-way street parking to drop of luggage can cause some issues with locals. It also meant that we had a quieter location . Good dairy, shops , cafes at end of street. Our room on level 4 which had been recently refurbished was a good size with a new bathroom, with the usual appointments, apart from lack of towel rails or hooks - odd ? Breakfast buffet in the dungeon was very good - plenty of choice and reasonable quality. Our last visit we spent 10 days in Paris this time only 3 days. Wandered local streets etc. this time as opposed to doing the tourist attractions. Overall had great stay here , would stay again . Seemed to be popular with my fellow kiwi countrymen - spoke with several fellow compatriots while downing a croissant at brekkie. Tres Bien

I chose this hotel after reading reviews and was not disappointed. It was our Ruby Anniversary and both my wife and myself found it perfect. The room, at the top of the hotel, was spacious, clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for? The staff were very helpful and courteous and the buffet breakfast, served in the basement cellar (very quaint) had everything we needed, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, pancakes, charcuterie, cheeses, sliced bread (for toast), baguettes, croissants, pain au raisins, pain au chocolate, coffee, tea and juices (orange and apple). The location was superb, away from the bustling throngs but. just a few minutes walk from both Montmartre and the Opera and with St. Georges metro just around the corner. Five cafes/restaurants at the corner. Most good but I'd give the Indian a miss if I was you. If you are with your partner, a visit to the "Love Bridge" , just behind Notre Dame, is not to be missed. (Take your own padlock!!) This was our fifth time visiting Paris but this is the first hotel we would go back to. You can't get a better recommendation.

Room Tip: All rooms are individually decorated and have their own quirks.

We were 3 couples in different rooms. 2 rooms were great, spacious, nice bathrooms. The other room 104 was very small with a small bathroom. The bigger rooms were very nice, good for the money but the small room was not.
We had the breakfast there which I thought was lovely. Nice croissants, crepes etc.
It was a 5 minutes walk to the Metro and bus stop and 2 minute walk to restaurants.
I would recommend going to the No Stress Cafe on the corner. Lovely service and food.

Room Tip: Room 101 and 002 were nice and big. 002 has an amazing shower. Room 104 was small and not as nice.
