“Very disapointing”

As you enter your hotel you have an elevator to your left and one to your right. The one on the right was very small. The receptionist made a point of telling us that we americans always have very big bags and european elevators are very small. There were other deragatory remarks made concerning Americans which we did not appreciate. The room was clean but very tiny only had a foot of space between the wall and the bed and we overlooked the fire escape. I do not know if this was because we came from another hotel or not. Up to this point we had been having a great time in Paris despite the train strike.

We have booked two last minute rooms in this hotel, so we payed about 25% of the original price. This saved our stay - the place is not worth the full price.

Location is a blessing and a problem - it is great for Champs-Élysées, but there's a place just opposite that attracts loud crowd for all night - we had to listed to their noise until Police came and stopped it at 6am.

The noise would not be a problem if we could close the windows, but the AC was not working. The receptionist told us about AC malfunction when we arrived and then added "but you booked the rooms cheap, so this is not a problem".

We had two rooms (502, 504). One of them is a decent sized and quite comfortable, the second one was a shoe box sized with sliding bathroom doors giving no privacy. Ask for a big room when you check in.

The wi-fi is a joke - barely working. The beds could use upgrade, but were acceptable.

The rooms were well equipped - nice toiletries, safe box and even a shoe polish.

Room Tip: Make sure to check the size of the room.

We are very pleased to see that you enjoyed both the location of our hotel, the cleanliness of our rooms and the quality of our equipment.

We would like to sincerely apologize for our air conditioning failure and for the reaction of our receptionist when explaining the situation to you. We have now set up in our rooms mobile air-conditioning units in order to offer the most comfortable service possible.

Rooms 502 and 504 are standard rooms of about 15 m2. We also have more spacious superior, deluxe and privilege rooms which I am sure would meet your expectations in terms of space and comfort.

while the location is handy for high-end shopping, we were totally disappointed with our experience at Hotel Beauchamps. We were told on arrival that the air conditioning was broken and that fans were put in our room which would have been fine if all the windows could be opened (room 309). Only 1 window opened onto the small atrium - the others sealed shut for some unknown reason - also known as an echo chamber for anyone trying to sleep or listen in on the smokers' conversations. We insisted on moving for our second night of the 2 night stay and were put in what we were promised would be a quieter room (room 411) which in fact looked onto Rue Ponthieu and the 2 nightclubs opposite. Once the 3 loud drunk homeless men were removed at 2 am, we got to look forward to the 6 am closing time of the nightclub outside our window. To say we had good sleep on either night of our short vacation at this place would be an overstatement. If only we'd known all this in advance, we'd never have stayed here...

We insisted on a complimentary breakfast which at least would provide the caffeine to get us through the day. Had we not asked, doubt it would have been offered.

This hotel is claiming 4 stars while it can barely have 2
The room was very tiny with no AC and completely unconfortable.
The staff was awfull and the luggage guy insulting.
When complained about the room, I was invited to look elsewhere.

Superb location, tucked away adjacent to the Champs Elysees, therefore lots of shops, restaurants and monumental buildings. Easy access to the Metro or easy enough to get around on foot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy and catered for all our needs. My only complaint is, we did not stay long enough. We will definitely return to hotel Beauchamps, which I understand will be further improved next year by adding a gym.

Yes, rooms are small (not a surprise in Paris...) but...
1) Location is great
2) Breakfast is good
3) WIFI is included
4) ...more importantly... The hotel has an EXCELLENT staff and management team. They truly are willing and able to go the extra mile and take immediate actions. (My luggage was lost and they went out of their way to assist me, find it and ship it back to me.)
I applaud the hotel manager for his effort, professionalism and thinking-outside-the-box attitude. I will definitely go back.

A little mix up with our check in and we were upgraded from a Superior to a Delux room for our 3 night stay. Very generous of the hotel but the Delux room was on ground floor level with the only window facing onto a common courtyard, so no opportunity to open the curtains during the day without wondering about compromising our privacy. The room was well laid out, spacious and with a lovely bathroom, all spotlessly clean and comfortable. It would have been handy to have a full length mirror in the room but otherwise the room had all the usual amenities.

Some of the common areas are looking a bit worn and in need of being refurbished.

I can't say this hotel left me with a particularly good impression but perhaps it's just a question of preferences.

Room Tip: Higher floors so you don't have ground floor privacy issues.
