Fantastic little hotel in the heart of Paris. On our arrival we were promptly upgraded to a premium room which was extremely comfortable. The bed was large, soft and inviting and the mini bar was excellently stocked and inexpensive. Yes, the room was a bit small but what do you expect in the centre of Paris in an old building that used to be Madame Pompadour's residences?!

Situated close to the Louvre, there are plenty of choice of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the helpful staff gave us some excellent recommendations. Public transport links are very close by as well if you want to get further afield without walking.

All in all an excellent stay, we felt extremely welcome and comfortable and would be more than happy to return in the future.

I stayed at this hotel with my family of 7 all adults. We loved the hotel the rooms were spotlessly clean and, very comfortable. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. Above all we were in a great location, only 10 minute walk to The Louvre and although we were on a main street we had no problems with traffic noise. Our only gripe was there was no kettle in the room (not sure if this is policy in Paris) and so we were ordering coffees that we thought were complimentary until they gave us the bill at the end of our stay and we had been charged at 7 euros per drink x 7 people over 3 nights. So take a kettle with you!

Great location with individual well decorated rooms. Would defiantly stay here again. Great quick service. Also... Just next Dior is a convenience store and a great wine bar. Excellent value and service.

I stayed for a night in the Washington when I was in Paris on business, and was impressed. It is very conveniently located, being in the 2eme arrondissement, just around the corner from the Opera. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was pretty and spotlessly clean. Yes, a few bits and bobs were a little frayed and threadbare, but really that just adds to the charm of the room. Interesting fact - the house used to belong to Madame de Pompadour! Despite facing onto a busy street it was not overly noisy. The continental breakfast is basic, but tasty and satisfying. Overall a great little hotel, and though pricy not outlandishly so considering the location. Recommended.

This hotel was recommended by an acquaintance who had stayed there on a previous trip. The hotel is delight to stay in - well located, beautifully appointed, clean and friendly helpful staff. We knew the breakfast was only a continental breakfast when we booked, all tastes fresh baked and is served by polite friendly staff. We have just completed an 18 day trip through Europe and 2 weeks in the UK and this hotel is one of the best and am happy to recommend.

My partner and I recently enjoyed 6 nights at The Washington Opera Hotel, in Paris. The hotel is a shining example of the perfect "boutique hotel," in a very metropolitan city. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, courteous, and helpful; really going out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Our room was a the perfect size for two, nicely decorated with very comfortable furnishings. All of the bath amenities were of very high quality, and were replenished as needed, or on request. A fully stocked mini bar was hidden in a cabinet next to the desk, and any items consumed were replaced the following day. Housekeeping was perfect and our room was in "like new" condition when we returned every afternoon. The public spaces of the hotel were in excellent condition, clean and very well maintained.

An ample continental breakfast is served every morning consisting of: a basket of assorted pastries & rolls, butter, a selection of jams, jelly, and honey, sliced ham, salami, and cheese, plain yoghurt, orange juice, coffee, and tea. Service was fast, efficient, and came with a smile.

The hotels location is perfect, with many tourist sites within walking distance, and others just a short cab/metro ride away. There is an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops in the immediate vicinity with price ranges to satisfy budget travelers, and those wanting to splurge as well! Two small, but very well stocked markets are about 50 feet away which are open from early morning until about 2AM.

We absolutely loved the Washington Opera Hotel, and will wholeheartedly recommend it to any friends or family who plan on visiting Paris in the future. I'm happy to answer any questions, just click on the link below.

Room Tip: The most quiet rooms are at the rear of the hotel, where there is little street noise. Room 402 is...

This hotel is very nice located and reasonably priced for being in Paris it is 5 minutes walking to the river and 15 minutes to the Rue de Montmare which is fill with nice bistros and many pubs. The croissants and the coffee at breakfast were good everything else was an after thought.

The rooms and the bathroom are very small but the bed is comfortable.
