“Above Average... Good Location..”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2014

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night... the Room was spacious on the 5th floor with a small balcony.. We arrived early and the staff was helpful and helped us with an early check-in.. Located decently close to a metro stations it helped us explore around the city...

The lift to the rooms could be more spacious.. is not very pleasant..

Would really like to appreciate the staff as they helped us with all our queries and questions...

Overall.. good hotel for the money you spend...

Room Tip: Try getting a room on the top floor.. terrace is really good to have a cup of coffee...

Our first time in Paris for a 4 night stay. We travelled as a family with our two children ages13 and 6 1/2. We stayed in room 54 (we requested a quadruple room at the time of booking) which was spacious and very comfortable. The room faced the front of the hotel and it also had a little terrace. We did not find the room to be noisy and enjoyed the vue of the city from the 5th floor.

Staff were fantastic and always very helpful. We arrived after 3:00 pm and the room was ready. Throughout our stay we did not have any issues with the water in the bathroom (enough pressure and hot water at any time).

We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but instead we would go to one of the many cafees in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pastries while observing the morning life in Paris.

We loved the fact that the hotel room was equiped with a mini fridge, as we bought cheese and wine and we had a way to store the leftovers overnight.

We loved loved loved the location. Very close by metro to many sites, but more importanly you could see lots of things within walking distance (15-30 minutes each direction): les Grand magazins (Primptems and Lafayette Galleries), L'Opera (from here through place Vendome you arrive to Rue de Rivoli and from there you can get to Louvre, Tuilleries gardens, place de la Concorde, Champs Ellysee, Madelaine Church, Assamble Nationale- Palais Boubon and many more), Les Halles, rue Montorgueil (full of bistros, a cheese shop - La Fermette YUM!!, wine shops, pastry shops, etc), the The Porte Saint-Denis which is another triumphal arch. As you can tell we did LOTS of walking!! and personally I think this is exactly how one should discover Paris.

We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We have requested a quadruple room at the time of booking.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights with our two children 3 and 8. The quadruple room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. We arrived early because of our flight time and asked about the room even though it was well before check in time. The room wasn't ready but by the time we went and had some lunch and came back they had it organised for us. Also the shower head had come off and it was fixed up promptly and without fuss. I loved the location too. Very close by metro to many sites and even walking distance to the louvre if you want to stretch your legs. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Quadruple room great for two adults and two kids

We booked this as we wanted a hotel in a reasonably central area to see the sights.

I'll start with the negatives: Our room was quite small, but it was adequate for what we needed. There was also a little bit of noise from the lift as the doors opened and shut that was clearly audible and continues into the night. We had a room which faced into the inner courtyard which was quiet, but slightly devoid of light. Breakfast is typically over-priced. (Much cheaper to walk to a local Boulangerie!)

On the positives: Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. The hotel has good wifi and the rooms are comfortable. The overall price was reasonable!

We were there for family trip in July'14 and stood in Aida Opera four nights. General impression is positive, except a few minor items (below).
Positive thing number one - absolutely friendliness and positive-mind staff. Very open-hearted people, who tried to help for any our inquiry and even prevent it. Big thanks for all of them!
Then: location - almost Paris centre, close to most touristic attractions. Connected to airport by Roissy bus (from CDG to Opera 1 hour than walking to hotel 15 minutes).
Room: (we used 4-persons room) - space is enough and more bigger than expected. Clean, cozy, normally equipped with hotel features even tea-table (which is normal for UK but rare for continental hotels).
Sleeping quality - OK. Night time - silent, fresh air, room temperature is regulated. I have to say that compare to other hotels which I experienced - quite low noise level from inside (usually you can here your neighbor's activity in next-door room, but here is not the case).
Bathroom - OK. Clean and shiny, water equipment worked properly.
Wi-fi - good connect and speed.
Breakfast - poor. Maybe 15 euro is really corresponds to such breakfast, but canteen staff must be more careful on their duty - one morning any meat was absent, next morning meat was ok, but cheese - not, etc. Anyway - breakfast was of narrow choice and temporary exhausted food was not replenished at once.
Negative point (to attention of hotel management): hotel has only one elevator, I do understand. But who is most important for you - guests of your cleaning staff? Every morning in peak-time (8-9 AM) elevator was practically inaccessible because cleaning girl occupied it for her trolley with bed-clothes for 15-20 minutes. We ought to use staircase to and from 4th floor. If hotel really cares about guests - re-arrange cleaning schedule, let her to do her job before or after peak time.

So, generally hotel is OK, considering quality/price ratio and additionally - staff kindness and friendliness. I can recommend this hotel to anybody for touristic stay in Paris.

Hotel is well situated in Paris within walking distance to many attractions and metro stations. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had booked 2 quad rooms for our group of 8 and found that we had ample space for our 4 night stay. Appreciated that this is a non-smoking property and can attest that management does take this seriously - as one guest demonstrated by attempting a late night smoke and instead wound up waking the entire property up at 2am with a fire alarm!

Room Tip: Request a street view quad room rather than an interior.

had a great nights sleep in this hotel with some friends. We had a triple room and I was stuck on the sofa bed but it was as comfortable as ever and I ended up having a lovely nights sleep. The only downfall I can say is the WiFi, we had troubles setting it up but eventually got it working. will definitely stay here again if I come to Paris again!
