My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our stay in Paris in mid-July.
This hotel was one of our favorites on our long trip in Europe.
The location was perfect for us. True, it's a long walk to the Eiffel Tower (we did it and would not recommend it unless you like long walks) but it's so close to Gare de Lyon. We used the subway several times a day.
We loved how friendly the employees at the front desk consistently were. My husband continually stated that they were the friendliest people we met in Paris.
The room was a little on the small side, but we didn't come to Paris to sit in a hotel room. It was perfectly adequate for our needs. It was always clean when we came back at the end of our day.
We especially loved the air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

Very convenient to Gare de Lyon. Basic rooms, clean and small, nothing special. Comfortable beds. Price was ok for this area of Paris. We did not eat in the restaurant as there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

180 Euros for tiny room on the 6th floor for two persons. Had requested lower floor as do not like lifts, at all.
Room was recently refurbished, no complaints there, bathroom was something different. Shower in bath with screen that kept opening, so water on floor. Shower head that needed refitting, water everywhere.
On arrival lady kept getting things wrong, said she was having a bad day. On leaving other lady was extremely helpful.
Didn't have breakfast as it was extra 10euros, but breakfast bar seemed meagre in what it offered.
Facilities at hotel are zero.
Not a pleasantly positioned hotel, but at least it was close to Garde de Lyon.
Overall we were disgusted at the charge, 180 Euros.

Room Tip: Ask what they have available when booking, ring them. If deciding to stay ask them to confirm they w...

A relatively late booking to stay here having booked to run the Paris marathon on 7/4

The hotel is approx 200 metres away from the Gar de Lyon station, which was so convenient having flown into CDG. No need to be worried or converned about taxis. The hotel itself is located on a corner just a stones throw away from the marathon route.

Breakfast was the typical continental, more than adequate and plenty of coffee etc. Due to the early start on race day we needed to sort breakfast out prior to their usual opening time. We explained the manager our situation, he was kind enough to allow us to make use of the facilities early - cant really ask for more than that !

Rooms are relatively small, but for the purposes of my trip it was more than adequate. Free wifi was available. Would I stay there for a romantic break away, probably not. But for the purposes of my visit my needs and expectations were met.

I stayed here for three nights and had a very enjoyable time. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Metro line that will get you to all the main attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable and I mostly slept well. The walls are a little thin, and when someone moved into the room next door, I could hear him shouting on his cell phone. I called downstairs and they dealt with it. The next night, that man was gone but the hotel had never turned off his middle of the night wake up call. Again I called, and again they fixed the problem. The breakfast that is offered is a cold breakfast, not hot, so in my opinion, not worth 10 Euros, but its optional. I'd recommend a local cafe, as for the same money you get a full hot breakfast.plus juice and hot chocolate or coffee/tea. A couple of other things worth mentioning, not really complaints, but what might be useful to other visitors. One, a site I found on them (not their own) had said that they do currency exchange here. This is NOT true. And the closest exchange was not close at all. It would be better for you just withdraw from the ATM on the corner once you get here. Also, not all of the front desk people speak English. Just something to be aware of and prepared for.

Its a 2 star. We stayed here for 3 nights on the top floor about a fortnight ago. We chose this hotel bcoz of its proximity to Gare De Lyon station (500 mtrs). But still the rooms are too small. I personally found the room suffocating but it was OK with my wife. Toiletries were OK and rooms were cleaned and towels changed everyday. Reception was courteous and breakfast was decent. Wifi was useful and the reception handed us the tourist map which was useful to good extent. Might look out for better hotels next time.
