“What a little gem!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

Like many cities across the world, trying to find a good hotel in place you don't know is tricky, unless you are prepared to spend a fortune for the privilege.
This hotel has great access to Viliers Metro line a short walk away.
I would describe the hotel as a boutique hotel, it's small and stylish.
The rooms are a great size and very well equipped, it's tastefully chic.
All the front desk staff are most helpful, most speak English, and they couldn't be more accommodating.
The breakfast buffet has enough fresh and local food to cover most tastes, it's nothing special, but in no way poor.
Lovely variety of ground rooms rooms to eat your breakfast in, little conservatories, and small courtyard at the rear, all very pleasant.
Small areas to lounge and chill out in, or for work with good free Wifi access.
Little most Paris hotels you have 2 options, rear facing rooms, which normally back onto tight cramped rear outlooks, or street facing rooms, which lead out to the street.
The city streets are noisy, you can,t get away from it, dustcarts arrive a 4am, noisy cars and scooters, it's part of Paris.
I have stayed here several times, and always request a front facing room, it is noisy, but you have to live with it, I think it's great value, and in a good location with lots of lovely shops and areas to explore.

Room Tip: Front street facing rooms, but they are noisy.

This hotel stay was a terrible experience. We arrived and were given a room with an unmade bed and dirty bathroom with towels on the floor. While we had lunch, they serviced the room, but the air conditioning did not work. The AC was very necessary as it was in the 80s and opening the window was not an option with a room just above street level. We moved to another room, but the AC worked only marginally in that room. Things were very dusty and dingy. Overall the hotel is very dated inside and smells dank and musty. Our room also smelled reminiscent of smoke.
The most disappointing thing was how rude some of the staff people were. We asked one desk clerk if it would be possible for her to call a particular restaurant for a reservation and she literally snatched the paper from my hands, made the call, and when a workable time was not available, she threw the paper back at me.
This hotel was a huge disappointment and a complete downer as an end to our wonderful trip through Europe.

We were there for a long weekend. Room was clear and nice, breakfast modest but delicious.
Good location.
Connection to the metro close to the hotel. Value for the money definitive positive.
Nice old style athmosphere.

Stayed in March '14. Found the location really good, able to walk to all the tourist attractions and local places cheaper than in the very centre of Paris such as the very nice boulangerie/patisserie over the road and a couple of nice Italian restaurants. Rooms are quirky especially the bathrooms. Beds comfortable and decent windows meant no traffic noise. Staff were helpful, checked us in early, booked a couple of taxis no problem.

Actually,I prefer a hotel in tourism destinations like champs élysées rather than in quite local area. But there were not much room in my budget in June2013 coz I booked late...

My husband n I stayed 3nights last year. The location is not bad n nearby a metro. Room was clean, size is good for us with a comfy bed. There is a store selling snacks n drinks opposite which is convenient to us coz they close very late night. Staff are polite, housekeeper smile every day when we met her.

I d recommend this hotel to travelers who loves to being a quiet local area:)

Very friendly and helpful. The staff went out of their way to assist us with everything from directions and dining recommendations. The desk clerk even went as far to loan me her personal phone charger when my converter failed. The location is close to all of the sights while still being in a neighborhood setting. The best!

Room Tip: The rooms on the street are noisy but the when the windows are closed it's barely noticeable.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here last weekend for 3 nights. We both found it to be perfect for our stay as it was close to the city centre, close to the Moulin Rouge and a vibrate night life.
the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, our french is very limited, i feel they worked this very quickly after meeting us!
the rooms are clean, a fair size and well kept. i felt the only let down for the place was the under stocked bar!
The local area has many great cafe's and restaurants. The Champs-elyees is only a lesurely 20 min walk (down hill) away.

Room Tip: ask for a road side room so you get the view down the road.
